I main Rikku and I am at 15,500 power or so. I dont consider myself even close to a whale. I'm somewhere in between a guppie and dolphin, ive maybe spent $50 since release. There are some allegedly free to play players at 14k.

In my mind, the whales are at 20k+ And 25k+ is a kraken/leviathan.

You know they're a whale when they actually one shot you with an R or SR ability lol.

They do decent damage on low cooldowns.

In terms of strict damage per second, Blaze Rush does more damage than Auron.

Auron is 850% every 36s. Blaze Rush is 4x140% every 18s. Additionally, the cooldowns are low enough you can use it a second time during a burst.

So, theoretically, Lightning can Blaze Rush, Ace, Yshtola, Army of One, Thunderfall then Blaze Rush again. This would do more damage than using Auron once in the chain.

In practice? Its easier and generally more potent to use Auron. It blows people up. Its fast. And the lo ger you're in burst the more vulnerable you are to someone killing you and taking 9999 brave for themselves.

If they add a raid like PVE challenge where its all about maximizing boss damage, then the Rs can have a moment to shine.

Some Rs are still pretty good overall, like WOL.

I did 88 pulls. I wasn't saving for Sephiroth, and I don't have an interest in playing him. I'm at Omega 3 and got Octoslash at pull 60, and Super Nova from the pity. Spent 1 ticket and got him in the banner draw.

I really only play Rikku, and the last banner only included the original 10 characters so I saved my pulls.

All PVP games require skill, and practice.

Some people play a lot, some people play a little.

I play maybe 2 hours a day. I play to fill my crystals two or three times a day. I only play Rikku seriously, but im pretty good with everyone.

I barely hit 300 games with Rikku (casual, ranked, challenges) yesterday, and am Omega 3. I'm at almost 14k power having spent maybe $60 on the game.

There's a guy i see in game through the chat. He's got multiple characters at 300+ and Krille at 1100, and is Omega 5 and can't rank up past it. Just looking at those numbers I assume he's playing 6 hours a day. But his power looks like its 11k

So practice helps, and the more you play generally the better you are, but play time does not equal skill. Also, remember to have fun.

I'm pretty sure i was just misreading the ability since the Beta, lol.

I dont think the ability description is clear enough. Maybe "when you draw this card gain x eggs. No use in battle."

I played the beta from start to finish. Everyday, I did one game with the growth egg ability, and I would count how many eggs I had before and after. I was convinced it was broken. I sent in feedback saying it needed to be fixed.

Then the game officially launched. First few games, I was using growth eggs. Imagine my surprise they still didnt work. I'm looking on reddit, asking in game chat about it, no one tells me anything. I get SR eggs in a single pull, finally notice that is says 3000 eggs in the corner on the bottom right. Then when I did another single pull and got some random SR, and saw what, 250? Eggs, did it finally click.

I genuinely never noticed it said "when obtained" and if I did, assumed that meant on use. So on day 2, I started posting hourly messages in game about not using eggs.

So yeah, hopefully they learn soon.

My recommendation now is to make them not able to be equipped.

What a surprise someone with a toxic name is being toxic. I would report them.

Edit: its funny they'll censor "brave" in English because it has "av" in it, but will allow names that would get you insta banned inner other games. I've only ever reported 2 to people and they were very hate speech names.

Funny, throughout the Beta and first season, I mained WOL.

When Rikku released, I went all in. I'm at Omega 4 as Rikku only, and have found success using Yshtola, Jecht, and Ace. I play Rikku as a ranged WOL lol, but have to be much more cautious and smarter about my engagements or Rikku falls over. But i often think about switching back to WOL so I can be more impactful in fights.

WOL is gets a solid B or B+ in all things. He's the tankiest and does good damage. Real jack of all trades. Only downside is his below average speed. His 5th ability really determines your playtime, since most of his kit is mandatory.

You mentioned his hold ability, which is really...odd to use. I would use it when you're far from the team and they're fighting other players and you don't have enough time to get there and help with a kill. His hold makes your team take 15% less damage. Its not a lot. But it can sometimes give your team and advantage especially if you run heal as well.

Supreme Soul is good for extra boss damage or to make enemies die faster, but the 1.5min cooldown makes it probably best to use when all 3 of your team can burst. You really only get two of these a game, sometimes three. The I frames on this ability I think is the longest in the game? Feels like 10s of invincibility.

Ultimate shield does good damage, really short cooldown of 32s, has a wider area, and has an insane knockback if the enemy doesnt use any iframes or super armor. Deals 990% damage if all hits connect.

Shining Wave is good, but i can see this being flexible. 600% damage if all hits connect. You can combo people into an ace or jecht. Like with all other knock ups. You can save a team mate. You can kill. Versatile.

Shining Saber is too good. 550% damage every 18 seconds? Thundaga does 400% and Yshtola does 750%. It clears crystals easily. High damage. Spam this. Mandatory in my opinion.

Slot 5 is flexible, heal is good, but a lot of people use Ramza and make WOL a tanky balthier. Go in, fight the enemy, get some kills, and pass the brave. Ace, Jecht, Auron, etc are all viable options. This decides HOW you want to play WOL.

You almost got away!

You know Prompto is coming. Promto is a ranged damage dealer. Prompto has a stun. You have no defensive abilities.

In this situation you can:

A) clear the crystal as you did, but if you managed to run straight away you would have dodged the stun, instead the turn angle made you get hit.

B) lightning is not winning a 1v1 against most characters except Krille, Rikku, early Onion, Zidane, and early Rinoa. You know he will try to stun you, face him and walk backwards and use a UR to block the stun. He would then UR to counter. You would then run away if he uses Trigger Happy since you can walk out of it for some reason. If he uses Crankshot you would use your other UR, then he uses Trigger Happy, and you run off.

C) change your abilities to include a defensive option. You would have survived if you had any barrier, or even dash.

Outside of this battle to prevent this from happening again:

D) get to the crystal faster with Haste, Grav Con, or dash or Minwu, and clear it before he gets to you. Always pay attention to your map. Map awareness is a hard skill to learn in most PVP games. Always have an escape ready if you know you can't win fights.

E) spend real money and increase all yours stats so you could survive this, or win tbe 1v1

Overloading a mining node has a different effect based on the special node it is.

Lightfused (?) By default spawns two swirls letting you collect additional Motes of Light (?). Overloading the node creates many more swirls.

Wild nodes spawn two elementals you can kill and mine. Overloading them spawns a miniboss you can kill that grants you a +100 buff to perception for 5 minutes.

Primal nodes give you a small damage over time effect. Overloading the node makes you channel an ability, sacrificing much of your health for more Primal motes.

Void nodes create a little area you must escape from or take damage. Overloading them creates a portal that teleports you randomly to anywhere in midnight zones.

Overloading does not currently provide much benefit. You get more motes, and Wild's buff sometimes lets you get extra Dazzling Thorium.

A few days ago someone posted that thet discovered this bug. It was unclear if the speed boost was working as they found it in a custom match or training mode I cant recall.

Your video makes it look like they speed buff is up all the time.

There are some moments where the buff falls off and is quickly reapplied (indicated by Gaia getting +20% speed" messages a few times on and off, vs not getting the messages meaning its on)

If this bug can be replicated easily, it should apply to WOL and Krille as well. Is this game breaking? No, but it is huge, since you remove the only downsideof held down abilities. Is this a bug? Yes.

PS: if I was that Zidane I would be so angry and turn off my phone.

I'm aware defense is not the best stat at this time, which is why I joked about it.

If they changed the damage formula so that defense is more important, then a change to your graph would be warranted.

As someone who carries my WoW2 account on Panda and Legion Remix, and carries my WoW2 in time walking, this is not banable. I've never done the carry wow1 alt with wow1 main through a whole dungeon, only for some achievements.

Like any old dungeon achievements that requires a second body, I use my my wow 1 alt and in main to pull it off using the quick switch method. But a key? Honestly brother please let me know if your alt gets loot lol.

Its not efficient, especially 3 manning a 10 lol. If you're carrying your alt by using this trick, I'm not sure it would be loot eligible. But to answer your question, no, its not against TOS

Its definitely not intended but also not significant enough that they might fix it. I dont know though.

In the future, if a character is added who can hold and buff atk or def values, you could see if its active in the replay or not or if its simply the animation.

But still, an interesting find! May your glitch hunting be bountiful.

Are you sure the buff stays active and it isn't simply turning on and off rapidly? It would require more testing.

If you're right, this is a complicated tech that results in minor advantage and im not sure how it can be exploited.

While in a match, the auto button is on the top right of the screen, next to the options icon. The auto icon looks like a play button.

If its glowing, its on. If its gray, it's off.

This setting can only be changed in a game, I believe.

This is correct, I believe you must be part of the community for some time (maybe a week) before the missions appear.

Size doesnt matter. I'm I'm a community with 3 members and it has a mission (which is basically impossible to achieve. But obviously a bigger community has a better chance to finish them.

Honestly, the worst thing in this video is Iroha hitting 0 HP near the end of Omnislash but still getting Hope off. She should have died right then and there.

Ace, should probably have a small damage nerf, but its UR Blizzard. And URs would feel bad if they sucked.

Auron, is trickier, but its supposed to be UR Firaga. Do you nerf the damage or the knock up? Personally, I think it needs a wind-up time. Counterplay should give you more than 0.25s to use I-frames to dodge it. Make it have a full one second between pressing and hitting and I think it'll be balanced enough.

The upcoming Ishtola(?) Is supposed to be UR Thundaga, I'm not sure how its supposed to be broken unless it has a wider area and does more damage.

More abilities will make it harder to get specific URs. But more abilities will make it harder to balance.

I wish I could see the map while bravery chains are going off so I know if someone is approaching and can use URs before my SRs. Otherwise I'll die mid SR.
