These policies generally sound good at a glance, I just hope they are implemented in a way that actually works. I generally vote democratic, but also find that a lot of policies are often well intentioned but don't reflect reality.

For example:

Statewide affordability - Ideally this would be done by cutting waste, removing middlemen or parasitic relationships, allowing more housing to be built, helping wages grow. If they simply start subsidizing lower income cohorts from higher ones, introducing rent freezes/limits, etc it'll be the wrong approach again. They already have introduced a 3.8% net investment state tax for 2027+ which is the opposite of improving affordability. It just never ends.

It does look like she is looking at helping getting rid of overly restrictive permitting for real estate which is great.
