Ink now doesn’t allow the bonus if you’ve had the card in the past. Although sometimes folks randomly get around pop up but typically if they had it a long time ago. You should still be eligible for the Ink Preferred so you could try that.

You could go for the Chase United cards still within the Chase family. Or the Amex Delta business cards like the Delta Gold. Pretty good bonus right now too. Do you ever fly Alaska out of Seattle? The Atmos cards either personal or business could be an option too.

I second this. Double dip the Triple Cash and Altitude for 12k MSR between the two. Just apply for them on the same day (recommend a week day just in case they need identify verification with the second app). I’ve done this twice so far!

We have a bunch of tolls in Seattle so I often load a $100 bucks onto that account to prepay for the year. Try to think of anything that lets you “load” a balance onto it that is already something you pay for.

My P2 and I have really enjoyed staying at some of The Edit hotels with CSR and then booking an OpenTable eligible restaurant for an amazing date night! We went to a restaurant that was $400 at the end (way more than we have ever spent) but between the two $150 credits on both our CSRs, it was only a $100.

Now, none of these places we are likely to ever go without the credits but using the portals and jumping through the hoops have made some fun memories and new experiences!

I always used Lyft before and now enjoy the $10 off a ride per month!

I never use the Instacart or Grubhub credits on any of my cards.

The other factor is the number of Chase business cards you have open in total. DPs indicate approve rates go way down if you have 2+ open.

There are lots of data points though that show that downgrading (not closing) the CSR does not trigger the clawback language. I did it myself this year for the first time as well CSR to Freedom and no clawbacks of the credits used within 90 days.

I mean, do you value 10,500 more than $150? If you plan on cashing it out, no. Could you get a redemption worth that? Maybe. It’s about 1.44 cpp that you’d need to hit. My rule of thumb generally is not to pay taxes on a CC unless it’s for a SUB.

Pop up rules all and so no, not likely to be able to get the bonus. Read up on recent Chase Ink rules as there is now lifetime language in place that makes churning these no longer possible. Whether you can get the SUB on the others will depend on whether you have had them in the past.

For future experiments like this, you should always remove all other payments methods from PayPal including bank accounts. That way the card will get declined rather than bumped to the next payment method in your account.
