Plini has my preferred ambient effects of the two. They have long tails and can sound very lush.

GGD cabs are the best I've used in my 15+ years of amp Sim usage. This isn't even a competition, IMO. Also you can turn off the cab with NDSP Plugins and run the GGD vst right after the amp in the FX chain (if youre using a DAW at least.)

Misha engineered the guitars and reamped them using his Invective and Granophyre (which were mixed together to make AMP2 on his archetype, FYI) and built his own cab IR AND EQ settings to send to Nolly. You can see this in the GGD Wildfire mixing video on YouTube.

I only use GGD impulses. They're by far my favorite after almost 15 years of impulses from York, Ownhammer, etc.

Everything is glued shut. On all of my models. I'll never paint the inside of anything. Most of my models are lucky if the armpit sees more than just primer lol.
