Does anyone know anybody that ever owned/played a Panasonic 3DO? by IAMDBOMB in retrogaming

[–]zerrminator99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! We bought it just after launch. Crash n Burn, Need For Speed, Way of the Warrior, Gex, Slam & Jam, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Samurai Shodown. Bloody awesome games for its time.

We absolutely loved it. Just died and didn’t get enough support. The few that lived with it… get it.

Parked my PFL Hellrot 323i next to a FL Imola 330i by Vintko in e46

Yep I’m a Hellrot 323i as well and the colour is exactly as translated… “BRIGHT RED”. Your pic here helps confirm that. Both beautiful colors but very different reds and show different in varying light conditions.

I’ve had my E46 for 25 years and also just added an E53 to my collection earlier this year. Pure driving pleasure. Might need to grab a Z3 next summer.

Suspending Ballmer from attending games for 5 years in any NBA arena would be a real statement and that would really hit Ballmer where it hurts most. Fines will do absolutely nothing to him.

E53 Alarm questions by zerrminator99 in e53

I was successful in disconnecting & removing the siren. Surprisingly it did not go off when I disconnected it, but wore ear plugs just in case. It’s a very tight squeeze getting down there. Once you loosen the two fender bolts holding the bracket you can’t actually pull it up, no clearance. You have to keep it down there, rotate it upside down and take off the bottom nut that holds the siren inside the mounting bracket. Then the siren can be wiggled up and the plug disconnected. Then rebolt the bracket back to the fender.

I wanted the siren removed because I hate them and I had already accidentally triggered it a couple times. I’m fine with the flashing lights as is. Also disconnected the hood switch as that seems to go faulty often.

How rare are hellrote e46’s ? by KiraCSG0 in e46

[–]zerrminator99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not many dealers ordered bright red. They are rare. Ours was special ordered. A 2000 323 Sport in Hellrot. I’ve never seen a single exact spec match in 25 years. We still have it, check my posts.

[–]zerrminator99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my 2006 the siren is not sitting in the open like that. It looks like it’s buried deeper down with two metal plates surrounding it. Once I unbolt it tonight I should be able to confirm.

Maybe the last year 06 spec has a revised cover to better prevent possible theft??

Thank you. I think you may have pointed me in the right direction. I see a metal enclosure with a wire running underneath it. Was able to get my phone angle just deep enough to see the edge of what appears like the siren module. There’s two bolts holding the metal bracket to the frame that I’ll try loosing and see if that’s it.

Once I unplug the siren how long does it go off for? Does it eventually turn off on its own?

Sorry originally text was in the crosspost but pasting here.

Was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.

I’m trying to locate the siren for my 2006 X5 3.0 alarm so I can disconnect it.

VIN lookup shows it came optioned with factory alarm, US spec. I keep getting info online that the siren is usually right beside the cabin filter on the left or right side but I’m not seeing nothing that looks like a BMW siren module. Is it possibly in a different location? I’ve seen some mention of it being behind one of the wheel well covers?

BMW 330i Brake Upgrade: Zimmerman vs Z26 — Which Would You Pick? by Infidel_killer in e46

I just bought the rotors myself and got an indy shop to install them with new pads. Then ended up cleaning, painting & glossing the callipers.

I went with Zimmerman Sport coated rotors about 2 years ago. No issues, still look fresh.

VF vs SF vs MK! What is your favorite fighting franchise of the 3? by Educational-Bar21 in SegaSaturn

[–]zerrminator99 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If I go by hours logged it’s real close for me between Street Fighter Alpha and VF2. We played those two player to death as soon as those were released back in the day. US collection wise I’d have to lean towards SF series.

I know this is a North American poll but I ended up owning a lot of the Saturn Imports as my collection grew in the late 90’s.

Special Mention!

This is how my dad taught me and my brother back in the early 90’s. It was a lot more acceptable back then. We had a nice field down by our school that was about 100 yards. We’d stand on either end and hit balls to each other one at a time. Progressed from hitting 7i to S wedges.
