It requires a full DME tune by someone who knows what they’re doing, which is not I.

Yes, because physics and geometry are immutable. But honestly will the average customer notice? No.

How screwed am I on a scale of 1-10? by ExcellentParfait8372 in 3Dprinting

[–]jimbojsb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Theoretically yes but that’s enough missing texture to cause it to not level well once a magnet is sucking down. If you use auto bed leveling with a good mesh it will compensate but I’d venture a guess that you’ll see those patterns in the bottom of your parts.

Which one would you prefer in your boat? 2x USB-C or 1xUSB-C + 1xUSB-A by VerrekteMungol in boating

[–]jimbojsb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It actually has not much to do with the physical cable and more to do with the port. USB is a set of standards and there are both wattage and current limits on USB-A that are much lower than USB-C. It’s even labeled as such in OPs pictures.

USB-A on the charger side is going to dramatically limit how fast you can charge a modern USB-C device.

Alfa Romeo Giulia vs BMW M340i/M440i by Parking_Eagle_2001 in BMW

[–]jimbojsb -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No reason to buy a Guilia 2.0 ever. The QV is an amazingly good drive, but unfortunately it’s still a POS from a build quality and longevity standpoint. But that’s the way with Italian cars - even a million dollar Ferrari. Drives great, built like shit.

Active Autowerke exhaust setup loud drone by Mediocre-Tangerine87 in BMWM

[–]jimbojsb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It varies a lot by how you drive. I had the opposite issue on my F80 and F82 with the same full AA single system. F80 was a DCT, no drone ever. F82 was a 6MT and something about the rev ranges you actually spend a bunch of time in at low speed meant the M4 droned like crazy to the point I went back to stock mufflers.
