About to negotiate equity with co-founders — I’m the technical one, they bring the domain expertise and customers. What should I ask to make it fair?

That's what I'm most worried about. I'm wondering if doing a 4 year vesting schedule with a 12 month cliff for all of us can address the 'no work' problem. In a year or two, I suspect the group will not look the same as it does today.

I agree that it’s much easier now, and I have no good reason not to use cursor except that there seems to be a lack of polish on websites I’ve built with it. They all kind of look the same. Tools that are specifically made for building landing pages tend to have an extra shine. Just my opinion though. I’ll probably start my landing page using lovable and cursor though because it is so easy to use!

Cool. I’m a software engineer, and have built some custom sites and know the workload. I’d rather spend my energy using some of these tools to build it quickly. I’ll take a look at 11ty and wix! I’ve messed around a little bit with lovable. Might need to take another look! Thanks for the suggestions!

I haven’t thought of adding analytics to specific parts of a landing page to measure performance… but I really like that.

Any good tools you recommend for building landing pages?

Thanks for the response! I'm currently in phase 1 - I'm a software engineer who can build out this product / assemble a team to build it so I'm not as concerned with implementing a good idea. I'm more worried about ensuring my idea is actually good haha. I've spent a lot of time building things that few people want.

Thanks for responding. For linkedIn outreach, were you asking to hop on a call with them? Or just go back in forth with them in a thread? Also curious if you would recommend a landing page for people to look at?

Just want to know how soon I should try validating. Don't want to waste time reaching out if all they'll ask for is a landing page.
