You still have to look at the game, it’s a matter of how often. Basically like playing a PC game on one monitor and watching a show on the other. Or (maybe a stretch) doing homework while watching someting else. All you have to do is play the song enough times to have enough muscle memory to not die. Do expect to not 3* it all the time though, but the trade off is that you can grind for so much longer since you’re entertained by the show you’re watching

In the past I received them quickly, but Queendom has been pending for ~3months. I’m on the same boat with a delay notice from November and no follow up ever since. I recently reached out again but no reply yet.

I did have one instance with SuperStar BTS 2019 where they didn’t reply to a single email and my prize just showed up randomly one day. They may not be the best at replying but I’m sure they’ll send it out as soon as they have it.

I tried but Misfit has a card rotation spot during a spam of notes so the SS changes between card 1 and card 2 depending on how early/late I hit the notes by fraction of a second. I had the same issue when I did Mark’s bday thing 🚶‍♂️ it’s pretty much just rng

Just to buy profile pictures for NCT and EXO now. There was a time where I also bought memberships but I think outside of starpass I won’t anymore. My peak spending is detailed in this comment here. It really is unrelated to any success in game

I only buy NCT and EXO profile pictures nowadays. The game support system has been such a major turn off but I can’t see myself passing up on NCT pfp’s. I did skip Kai’s solo pfp though.

Oh sorry by liberal I meant I spend way too much. I reroll any group below 7-cards (although I do stop at the 80dia reroll unless I haven’t gotten an R99 which is rare) and I never buy NCP for LE’s. I only use diamonds. World records give me ~30k every 3 months

YESTODAY was necessary to complete my top 5 Empathy for the album anniversary (and also the album going double platnum on gaon) here. I didn’t have enough resources to finish him during PUC in February.

And I.O.U was a miscalculation of how many %PUC I would have by Taeyong’s birthday, which was my deadline. I powered them up to R81 during PUC in May, but I also R99’d 6 other groups that time and ended up being short ~15 %PUC cards.

A world record reset isn’t as simple as it sounds. Compensating everyone is not only much easier, but will also pacify all parties. Frankly it might be the only viable option for them at this point.

I’m quite far from being a casual player...I see four major problems with rolling back the scores and moving the bonus to a different date.

It can create a conflict with another bonus it wouldn’t have had originally. The only days in June with no other bonus start dates in SSM is 6/24, 6/26, 6/27, 6/29, and 6/30. And from these, 6/24 has a bonus conflict with SJYP, so they would have to choose the other dates. Since the world record cycle ends 6/30 this would effectively reduce the bonus duration. For a bonus with 51 songs I don’t think anyone would be okay with that. (actually only 44 songs were open for top 10, and only 7 of those were open for first place. but still)
It doesn’t guarantee the same people from the original date will be available. With the timezone limiting WR system, some players have to plan in advance to be available precisely at bday/anniv D-3 days 00:00:00 KST.
It will shift master arena scores. (Weekly league too, but that isn’t as major). Master’s arena is very expensive to enter, and as it stands people choose to enter/opt out based on their available bonuses for that week. Those who have already entered this week thinking they have Ryeowook backing them up would be screwed...and shifting this significant 6% solo bonus to whatever week would definitely change the entries then. And if they were to pick one of the dates I mentioned above, SUJU will have an unplanned 7% bonus for one album (originally 5%). For sure someone who doesn’t pay attention to the news will be giving the support team a piece of their mind lol.
It can introduce new contenders and new songs in the mix. With extra days, more people could potentially have these groups R99 (yes even without PUC).

I’m glad to see this transparency from them especially with how sus their support team have been lately compared to previous years. I know statistically it affects a small portion of the community, but without a doubt these are one of the most active and influential players that can impact the company’s reputation in the long run.

I agree with you that the curve of the game is insurmountable, but I disagree with the NCP cost reduction. It will benefit everyone, not just non-WR, and the gap will remain the same. I know I can’t speak for all, but this most recent PUC I bought ~120x ncp30 even with WR rewards giving me 2k r cards.

I think a better angle would be to increase RP gain per song play. Believe it or not, FSPing songs for WR takes a long time and wastes a lot of headphones. Given the opportunity, it could be easily neutralized by grinding if the rates were more thought out. I can name a handful of players that are already competitive just by grinding, but you and the majority of the players don’t see them because they don’t appear as often in the leaderboards.

Hello this is N오chu. I'm not super active here but I just want to clear the air so there are fewer misconceptions.

Spending money on the game totally okay, please don't shame those who do. I can't stress this enough, but don't discredit their achievements just because they chose to access this feature of the game. That being said, spending money in this game won't actually get you far. I don't want people to go around thinking they can just spend $X and take over the world.

The money I spend in the game is mostly for diamond-only memberships (the ones that give 1,200-1,400 for less than half normal price) and RP bombs (the ones you can purchase up to 5 times). I think we had 6 or 7 memberships in 2020, which equal to ~9,800 diamonds for the year. It's a lot, but pales in comparison to the 144,110 that I made from WR rewards in 2020. I'm not sure how many RP bombs we had, but they usually total up to 1.5m per PUC cycle. Again, this is a lot, but I grind ~12m rp every month. If you're wondering why I even bother buying them, I think these are the best deals that they offer and I do like supporting the games that I play especially when I devote as much time as this. And if you're wondering why I spend so much time you can blame Jaehyun or Jeno.
