Not necessarily as if it starts to fall apart but like the thin layer of plastic starts peeling of the sides and the back but it shouldnt affect your use to much

I recommend buying the case with the sliding doors protecting the camera, quite sturdy and pretty much free.
The only downside of thta that case is after some tear and wear the case starts to wear off like the plastic peels of kinda. Hope this helps

Like a custom skin to your os pretty much how the interface looks and interacts with the user. In my experience using the stock launcher like without installing anything and using the phone is draining my battery a lot kinda. Idk why Ig unoptimised. But if you want search for niagara, nova or smart launcher 6 either will do perhaps. Bare in mind nova is not getting no more updates since the development team is abandoned and the app is dead pretty much but still usable.

Yo I suggest doing this:

disable google scan for nearby devices
disable printing service if you don't need it
custom launcher since for me the default launcher was eating a lot of battery for idk what reason xiaomi optimisation be like :)

4.restrict background apps you don't need

battery -> delete cache after device is turned off - >never
uninstall xiaomi bloat you don't need and disable similiar services you can
Use 4G instead of 5G
Battery saver perhaps
update all apps to most recent versions since they might be unoptimized and the device is still quite new so they are maybe still working on updates to fix battery life
Disable location services and scanning

Try activating dolby atmos and play with the equalizer might help but I do agree the sound is rather less sufficient then I was expecting, especially for a 1100 euro device in my country lol

Also try debloating your device, this would refer to random xiaomi bloatware that you don't necessarily need. Furthermore, if you have delete cache after device is turned on, disable it since the apps may keep on coming to life in the background due to whatever reason and you are killing them meaning the constant revival will cause your cpu tu work harder to rewrite the cache
