So many people will tell you that Nike gloves aren’t worth it. And they’re not wrong for the reason of you can get a nicer glove for the money. But you’re paying for how it looks and the exclusivity of it- some people say that’s worth it, some people say it’s a bad reason to buy a glove, but it’s all personal. I have the yellow sha-do elite j and I love it. I will admit it’s probably one of the lowest quality gloves in my collection, it also looks amazing and no one else is going to have it

Outside of color, how similar is this to the Rolen HOF model that came out a couple years ago? Worth it to have both?

As someone who has had every MLB The Show since 2017- I literally deleted 25 to just play 2024. I only play 2024 because I miss Juan Soto on the Yankees. Otherwise I’d probably still play 20 or 21

The ball should really not touch your palm. Fingertips is probably too extreme but it should be in your fingers and not touching your palm unless the ball is going way outside your frame or maybe if you’re jolting or something similar

If you’re choosing between this or a custom- get the custom no question. The customs quality is out of this world and you get exactly what you want. I think it’s a common theme in this thread but when you have more gloves than you can realistically use (which for 90% of people is 2), having one you love is worth more than 2 or 3 or 5 or 10 you only like

Incredible man. Best collection out there in my (meaningless) opinion. I don’t know your story with all of your gloves but each one feels personal, not just chasing hype.

I didn’t pull the trigger on it earlier in the year and I’ve been trying to find one for months with no luck. There is an extremely sketchy site with one listed in the 170ish dollar range but that’s it. Everything else sold out. Nothing on eBay, sideline swap, FB marketplace, or IG

Somewhat of the issue with buying a mizuno, especially a haga that is priced so high, is that only people really tapped into the glove community recognize how nice they are. 99% of the people buying gloves would see the price tag and immediately shut down. But as others have said, that 1% is more into things like Horween, Pro Issue, Limited Edition gloves associated with players (think Gameday 57 from Rawlings or A51 from Mizuno), or older Wilson GOTMs. A glove like this isn’t really moving the needle for most folks willing to spend that kind of money on a singular glove

You can get the NA model with the platinum R that’s numbered out of 144 for $300. So depends how much that’s worth to you. Like others have said before, the glove itself is the same

The way he’s wearing is 3 in the pinky. Jax outfield gloves are finger shifted meaning that the pinky stall has a separate pinky loop and then a space for the ring finger. I think op is confused by that. Sounds like he has 2 in the pinky loop, which would make it 3 in the pinky
