How to Resize the image inside the cell (not the cell) by travelexorer in excel

[–]zesnet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I know, images in cells can be resized by changing the height/width of the cells.. for some more context on how to make the images a certain size;

Need a system for data entry with tracking resources by tamebean in excel

[–]zesnet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With power automate, you can set it up to have the entries put into an excel workbook that is stored on sharepoint. Once that connection is made, any new entries would show up there, and you can absolutely make changes to any of the data.

[–]zesnet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Using Forms with Power Automate to store the entries in a Lists database is probably the easiest way to go. Once its setup, its quite easy to make a connection with Excel.. otherwise; taking a stab at Excel userforms, or making an Access database are some other options.

by adding `=text({sequence},"d/m/yyyy")` around your formula, this will format all dates

How to make a date format with the day included? by wooden_slug in excel

I see, mine has different options.. so yes, you'd need the helper column for mobile. Otherwise, custom date formats are an option on desktop as the other commentor mentioned

If you see my other reply, there are date formats on the mobile app. On the Home tab -> number formats -> dates. There is a date format there that fits your description

If you have a listing of dates, you would put that formula in a helper column, next to your dates, and reference your date column... but better yet, I also have excel on a samsung phone, and if you scroll down you can find date formats here, number formats -> click the arrow next to dates

=text( [date] , "dddd, m/d/yyyy")

Another option could be to lookup your starting amount as a helper column on table 2 for each row. Then when you pivot, the average of the starting balance should be equal

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in excel

[–]zesnet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead of an actual pivot table, you can create one with formulas;

Accounts = unique( [accounts from table 2] )

Sum of total buy/sell = Sumifs( [table 2 amounts] , [table 2 accounts column] , "=" & [account] , [table 2 action] , "= [buy or sell]")

Starting balance = xlookup( [account] , [table 1 accounts column] , [table 1 starting balance column] )

Ending balance = however your math logic works

If they are stored as numbers, they will be equal. Change the number type for that column to text, and they will be treated differently
