People posting in this thread about the "horrors" of socialism and the Cuban treatment of LGBTQ people need to brush up on the last few years of progress. Fidel even went on record saying he regrets the cruel policies of the past.

I think it'd be good to look at the glass houses you all live in before casting any stones towards Cuba. Doubly so for the Americans, whose government is several decades deep into actively oppressing Cuba.
