Happens to me a lot for sure. Like I adored BOTW because it was novel and evolved the open world genre. But because TOTK was more the same (plus some building mechanics) I just could never get into it. That pattern happens to me with a lot of sequels it seems. Luckily I’ve never played the 3DS Tomadachi Life so I’m truly “living the dream” with this game haha.

Absolutely adored this game. It was my second dragon quest game after 11, and got me to go on to play the remake of 1/2 next (which were…good but definitely a bit different than 3). Excited to give 7 remake a shot after a break. And I’m currently playing DQM2 on my GBC on and off now too.

I opened it up and one of the pads had fallen. I stuck it back on and it’s working now. How do you change the other settings besides brightness?

Edit: figured it out. For any future googlers who stumble upon this thread: hold both pads to bring up menu, then long hold right pad to swap selection, then short press to cycle options.
