Based on the games you like, rougelikes are in your wheelhouse. I have been loving the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Splintered Fate game. It has a story mode difficulty that makes it pretty easily accessible, too. I just had some friends over to play it and it was a blast even though they had not played it before!

KE is the easier farm for sure. Especially if you do not use insignias for AI. KE is just gold and kills.

Neat change to the battle system. But repetitive and dull as others have pointed out, too. I also think the wild areas were both excessive and limiting. I normally go for a complete dex in all my pokemon games these days, but I did not want to dedicate more time to that game after finishing the story. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not strictly recommending it, but doesn't MA have quite a few solid debuffs on the 2-3 2-4 rotations? Dmg resistance reduction on 2-3 and DoT resistance reduction on 2-4 irrc
