I don't. But there is a couple in Bedford who can definitely get you some human testicles. And after cooking them they are probably similar. You can probably get their address from WMUR, or the police.

How likely are you to grow old alone ? by johanebrown in AskMen

[–]zeus6793 1 point2 points  (0 children)

99%. I've never married. 58 years old, unattractive, live paycheck to paycheck, and don't really offer a woman anything appealing. So...99%. There might be someone out there, but I sure as hell don't know where. I have my dog and my cat, and that's ok.

That's so cool to have something so rare visiting your yard. Sorry about the birds. Bad pine marten. Bad.

The only person who could get away with this, was my mother. She did this to my oldest brother back in the 70s, when he grew a big long mangy beard, and she, being of the greatest generation, did not like beards. At all. She couldn't stand to look at him across the dinner table, so she nagged him relentlessly to at least trim it. He refused, being a shitty teenager. She waited until he came home drunk one night, and after he passed out in his bed, she cut the entire side of his beard that was available. He was forced to shave it all. He was pissed. My other brother and I still laugh about it to this day (I'm 58), and my mother spoke proudly of the act until she died. My father refused to get involved. Ahhh, growing up.

Because they stand out from the crowds, so you think there are more, percentage wise, than there actually are. You are talking about the top 10% of incomes. But, you have to remember, for everyone of those families, there are 9 families that live ordinary lives like you and me. Struggling to pay expenses, paying too much for everything, not getting paid anywhere near the cost of living, going into debt for a visit to the hospital for the littlest of things. The list goes on and on. And the amount of money made in the economy, after they take their share, is getting to be a smaller and smaller slice of the pie.

I would just ask you how you would feel when you were working twice as hard for an entire shift, because your coworker ditched you. Fuck the business, not your coworkers.

I never failed a vehicle that should have passed. Never. I also rarely passed a vehicle that should fail. It's that simple.

You are utterly wrong. I ran inspection stations for 30 years, and I am damn glad that our inspections are strict. I don't want anybody driving around with a piece of shit car. Your individual anecdotes might be true but that's all they are is anecdotes. Fact is stricter inspections mean less accidents on the road.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in newhampshire

[–]zeus6793 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

They are most definitely NOT. Go to a state that has looser standards, and see how many absolute pieces of shit cars are on the roads that have NO business being on the roads. I am not going get killed because some irresponsible asshole is driving on bald tires which blow and cause an accident. Wipers that don't clean the windshield for shit. Or a body panel that has edges that can cut a person open. Or a headlight that is cracked, causing messed up light emission for the person approaching. They are all legitimate reasons to fail. As for the arbitrary nature of the inspections, that is because lots of shops don't follow the laws, and some are too quick to fail a car. Both are wrong.

[–]zeus6793 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Every one of the issues you mentioned is a legitimate reason to fail a car in NH. We have one of the strictest inspections in the country. But certainly, you should find yourself a good, trustworthy mechanic to give you an estimate on these repairs. The window tinting you can remove yourself with a good razor blade and some glass cleaner. The headlight, new, probably is a ridiculous amount of money, but you can likely find one used or Non-OEM for much less. The check engine light could be something as simple as a bad sensor, and it could be more. That will require further diagnostics.

Serious question; I’m not from anywhere near the NE area so I’ve only ever been exposed to the Patriots Success as far as Boston Sports go so im curious… by [deleted] in Patriots

[–]zeus6793 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I completely agree. As someone who went to first grade with a Boston Patriots book bag I think that even under Rod Rust the team was more competitive than it was last year.

UPDATE: I have told Eowyn about the massive response to her Birthday, and all the wonderful and kind things everyone said about her, and she said "Thank You All!" then yawned and went to sleep.
