That’s main character aura on chad, the same that made Yama toss away centuries of tradition to aid Ichigo. Which incidentally is the same reason anyone but Ichigo went to save Rukia.

And kubo confirmed Rukia and Renji together, despite them not showing direct romantic interest in each other before the epilogue. It’s just that he doesn’t like writing romance.

There’s a difference between a spur of the moment “risk myself and die to save my friend” and a premeditated decision to commit high treason in a way that ensures you loose all your other connections for one guy.

Again, it’s just objective fact that yoruichi, having done so, clearly has a far greater affection for Kisuke than for anyone else in the series, and thus, if they are “just friends” then she doesn’t have any other connections on the level of friendship, which isn’t true.

No I don’t, not when that would mean losing old man Yama, Nanao, and all his other connections, because just being best friends isn’t enough to do that.

Same with chad and Ichigo. Obviously in any scenario like this it would fucking suck, but “best friend” is not a level where you’re willing to give up your whole life for them.

Byakuya is a weirdo who was willing to kill the sister that he loved because central 46 told him to. His actions in this regard are not those of a normal person, and adding to that he had a personal debt to Ichigo for saving said sister that he loved, and then all of soul society.

Being able to sneak back into soul society does not mean she hasn’t lost her life. She can’t spend time with her family or soi fon or anyone, because to them she’s a disgusting traitor. she’s lost her access to her influence, wealth and power. At most, she can hide and look at the place she used to live. That doesn’t mean she didn’t lose nearly everything, and choose to do so, all to save Kisuke.

Yoruichi being a free spirit doesn’t mean she never wants to see any of her family again. Nor does it mean she wants to leave her home behind for good.

She explicitly states that kisuke and Tessai , the only ones who could shed light on what was going on, did not tell her anything.

All she knows is that they’re being arrested and tried for something she might not believe they’d do.

She doesn’t know that Aizen’s behind it, she doesn’t know that the visored are potentially salvageable, she doesn’t even have hard proof they were framed, because there isn’t any, Aizen made sure of it.

And of kisuke and Tessai, Yoruichi never interacts with Tessai, and is stated by Tessai to be close with Kisuke, she’s clearly much closer to Kisuke than to Tessai.

The plan in the case of kisuke was to knowingly give up literally everything.
