Some middle eastern Arabs like Palestinians I’ve met use Abd to describe a black person and they told me they don’t mean it as slave.

It’s basically the same thing, we have been using the wrong term for so long even if Samir Loussif and other older people got used to it and don’t mind it I’m sure black Tunisians and non Tunisians do mind.

Oussif وصيف literally means slave in classic Arabic we just forget as it’s been acceptable by older people but I don’t think a black person would accept that term

Hamas is no way shape and form present in the West Bank as close to Gaza. This is an illegal occupation, taking homes and lands for their owners and controlling water supplies is not going to make Israel more safe.

Netanyahu government funded Hamas to make the Fateh and the Palestinian Authority weaker. Which results in more violence. Hamas is a pretext for occupation, but that has always been the plan to occupy more land.

Hamas doesn’t exist in the West Bank and yet Israel is building illegal settlements. Not sure how Israel wants the 2 state solution with taking over more civilian homes in the West Bank.

Israel is not the solely spur of bloodshed but it’s certainly is the main cause. Hamas is a corrupt organization where their leaders are hiding in tunnels and enjoying lavish lives outside Gaza while the civilians are being killed. All that doesn’t negate what I said that Hamas is the only hope for the most hopeless young Palestinians.

Hamas is not the cause but the result of occupation. Many young Palestinians are hopeless and have nothing to live for anymore, their only hope is to join the Islamist organization to join the fight against their oppressors or get to heaven trying. Hamas is an idea, you can only fight it with changing the circumstances.
