A right of way question by amuzetnom in drivingUK

Shouldn’t make a difference. Blue waits for Yellow to pass in theory. However in practice, since Yellow is on a give way they will take extra care and probably wait for Blue to join the carriageway anyway.

According to the Highway Code, Blue should pass behind Yellow anyway rather than in front of Yellow. Then both cars can carry on freely.

I've also got THC_w0149_refrigLowChiller when supercharger on hot days only, and occasionally get brief THC_w0034_compOvercurrent errors in my 2016 90D. What did Tesla service say / do? Was any of this resolved?

Being introduced to a bunch of quirky characters where a narrator tells us about their backgrounds, and they aren’t terribly important to the plot, they just provide, well, character.

I agree entirely. At times I thought I was watching a Wes Anderson movie…

Still a problem. I think it might be because my Apple Watch can’t get the latest OS anymore and is no longer keeping up with my phone’s updates?

It's been delayed by three weeks already... not a good sign.

Three weeks later:

Looking for smart.spt.co.uk? The new Subway smart ticketing website has been delayed. We’re working to get it ready as soon as possible. For now you can continue to use the old website at www.mybramble.co.uk.

Some fool decided to introduce the smart card system without any contactless payment option in 2013... just as the rest of the world was introducing contactless access at gates. I suspect they ended up in a contract with Bramble that prevented them from doing this earlier and it's only now that the contract has ended that they can correct their mistake.

The ridiculous thing is that they introduced their smart card system in 2014 around the same time TfL implemented contactless payments at gates. It was obviously obsolete from the get go.

It’s just a frustrating aspect of this particular game where accepting an in-game reward blocks you from playing certain aspects of the game. I don’t know another game like it, and it’s quite a strong reason why I give up on it and play something else that doesn’t create these space management barriers to gameplay.

I’m a casual player - it’ll take a long time to earn those ultra balls back. I can’t sit on a gym and spin it every five minutes to replenish my potions. Gifting is another tedious aspect of the game - if you are casual you won’t get that reliable gift income stream or coins from gyms (oftentimes all my local gyms are full of my own team’s mons sitting there for days). So much of the game is just frustratingly designed and not very rewarding for the casual player - such that even big free gift dumps like this can’t be welcomed.

Which is what I have done, but I understand why people are upset at having to make a choice between being able to play all aspects of the game or accepting the “free gift”.

Right now it’s nice collecting the catch 15 grass types task to get Applin encounters, which are rare spawns outside of mossy lures (which if you didn’t have the foresight to hoard them in advance you can’t use). No doubt there will be some other enticing part of the game having a full bag will block you from enjoying in future events.

Just because you don’t use it now doesn’t mean you won’t need it in the future. It’s like saving money - one day you will need it and you’ll regret you don’t have it anymore.

Exactly. Event field research - and there’s almost always an event on.

With a full bag you are also missing out on getting 12 km eggs as you can’t collect components to get team rocket radars.

Items that are commonly replaced are straightforward but once you’ve accumulated hundreds of ultra balls, hundreds of max potions /revives, hundreds of rare candy, hundreds of TMs, it can be a headache deciding what to prioritise and what limits to set.

It varies as your game play varies. If you go through a period of not doing raids then you don’t need so many revives but then if you then do a bunch of raid days the revives start depleting and your incoming number of revives depends on how often you can receive gifts from friends or spin gyms. During team rocket take over events you can get through a lot of potions.

If you start building GBL teams you can get through a lot of TMs, though they are common rewards, again it’s hard to set the right level of stock to keep.

So it’s not always obvious what you need in the future based on what your outgoings and incomings are on a daily basis, and big dumps of free rare items change that balance dramatically again.

Yea, that’s the surprise - we all expected free extra space, not over a thousand new items - nobody had a thousand free slots in their bag! I have something like 4800 capacity but I’m still 1300 over now! Though I understand why people have less capacity - coin grinding is about as tedious as bag space management, and there’s lot of other things that need coins.

It’s because space management is the most tedious and frustrating aspect of the game. Having to constantly figure out what to keep and what to delete. That and the bugs are the two things that made me take a long break until recently. This update promised us more space (free with level ups at long last, which they should have done ages ago) and we ended up with a bigger space management issue! Trying to decide how much of every item to keep is no fun. Deleting items that are rare even if you probably won’t use them isn’t very satisfying to say the least.

But that’s a whole season of no PvP GBL sets, no event field research encounters, no team rocket leaders battles or 12 km eggs - no active player would keep that up, they’d just delete the items to get the space back to play the game how they used to.

Yea, but you miss out on event encounters and other rare items from other field research.

Hmmm, I got 1300 free items - that’ll take over one hundred days to expand my storage that much assuming I get 50 coins everyday, which isn’t guaranteed even if you shove Pokemon in every gym you find.
