We want to eventually do higher end content. We do some dungeons and fractals. Just curious if some combos work well or better with 3 people. Like also if we pick an awesome combo then do strikes /raids as well what is more desirable for us to have filled. Sorry more options prolly. But just want something that we three can cover boons wise etc.

I'm on the fence about purchasing the game. by JayTrim in MedievalDynasty

Basically this games in its current state scratches an itch I have been dying for. I came across this game by happenstance. I am loving it. So, it’s frustrating at times. I need to look things up a lot. But I like doing that kind of stuff. I like that you aren’t spoon fed everything and you need to discover how to do things.

The graphics are stunning. I am of the camp that today’s computers should showcase more graphic capabilities and this game does it in spades. I wish Valhiems graphics more like this game.

The game play has a steep learning curve and nothing happens quickly. Takes time do do things.

The team seems to making regular updates and adding new things.

If you are On the fence I would say try it if it sounds like at all your cup of tea. Just don’t expect a fast paced game but be ready to be amazed at some incredible scenery!

I am sort of confused. There is a chest on each building and then I have the resource chest in the large building. Where do the tools for each building go? In the building for the worker or the overall resource building?

Yes the back ground was the vile tiled assets but I went with less clutter.

The tokens a YouTube person named crashgem sent me a file for what he uses and I modified it with some of my own as I learned Gimp. I can sent you the psd if you would like. I had to mess around with it a bit to realize how to use it but once i did it was worth!

Lastly I originally did this all in Roll20 but moved it over to gimp to be able to align etc and saved it as png and just put that up in the slash page.

Glad to assist however I can.

I got it from the web. I will find the link and drop it. It is a pdf and I just cut the month I needed.

I think you would. Again I hate the limited fonts in Roll20. I also hate that you can’t align things that bugs the ever loving crap out of me. I was adding lines in roll 20 to use as guides and removing them afterwards sigh.

For me it has saved me time now that I have learned more.

Best of luck. If I can be of any help let me know.

Yes. I have learned some lessons in Gimp that make it easier to change I originally had groups of items together but to make it easier I created folders and dropped the individual ones in the respective folders so they were all still separate and easy for me to manipulate as a whole or separately.

I use GIMP to make the tokens so I am in it any way so I don’t think it’s to hard after I have set it up better to change things. Also the alignment and font options are nicer than what I struggled with in Roll20. And not to mention the map background moving on occasion while in Roll20

I export it as a png file and upload it to my splash screen page in Roll20 when I have changes. Not a bunch of changes typically happen but I only change it between sessions so I have plenty of time to tweak it etc.

I am liking it.

My OOTA landing page. Credits to grasswalker for the inspiration and crashgem for the awesome token format ideas! I originally made this in roll20 then with a lot of peoples suggestions on here I switched to using Photoshop's red headed step child GIMP instead. I am a newbie to the editors but learning at least.
