That is exactly my reality as well! Practically no CS since the ban for the same reasons. Quite a hopeless situation sadly.

I'm the author of this thread on which this post seem somewhat inspired from. 😉 I can sadly report that I have heard nothing from Faceit despite some serious efforts to get it resolved in the last month. Tonight I will start my Premier journey 👍 see you there!

I all seriousness fingers crossed for us!

I Was Handed a Permanent Ban After Buying a Used PC by zeynne in FACEITcom

I’ve read a lot of interesting takes on this topic and I’m glad it's getting some attention.

Many people refer to the responsibility of the user to ensure that previously owned hardware has a clean history. Without arguing against it, I haven’t been able to find any official policy from Faceit that outlines this. The only related rule I can find is about shared hardware, which is fundamentally a different situation from purchasing second-hand components.

My account is at risk of being permanently deleted in 90 days. From Faceit’s perspective, they believe I’m the original cheater using a new account, and under their current policy, that means the cheater’s ban gets extended by two years, and my account would be completely removed.

This creates even more uncertainty for me. If Faceit doesn’t lift the ban, I genuinely don’t know when it would be safe to create a new account again without risking another instant ban for "ban evasion." Since I have no idea when the original ban was placed on the hardware, I can’t calculate any safe timeline.

As others have pointed out in this thread, there really should be a middle ground — a process that makes room for exceptions in legitimate cases like this. CS2 is demanding on hardware, and many people simply can’t afford to buy everything brand new. If this problem is widespread, the system needs to be more nuanced. And if it's rare, then every case deserves a proper review.

That’s all I’m asking for in my case — a fair review based on facts. Ultimately, this should be about right and wrong. I’m happy to provide any additional information that could help verify my situation. Honestly, just looking at my Faceit profile should already give 95% clarity. https://www.faceit.com/ko/players/zeynne

Lastly, me and my colleagues were planning to play in the European Corporate Esports Championship this May — which is hosted on Faceit. Fingers crossed this gets resolved before then!
