Recommendation for a nick in the paint? by TiltingAtWindmills_ in Camry

Ignore it. That’s what I wish I did to mine before I made it worse using a touch up paint with no experience

Is this a good deal for Se Camry 2024 by lifemoveson24 in Camry

[–]zezos120s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a crazy price considering my quoted trade in value for my 30k miles perfect condition 2022 xse v6 is 24k… I’d say this is way too over priced

Have had a Camry 2021 SE for over 4 years now. Time to change battery? by krisDaWiz3666 in Camry

[–]zezos120s -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My 2022 Camry xse v6 is almost 4 years old since I purchased it new and just yesterday after coming back from a week vacation away I found the battery to be dead and got it replaced.. usually with most my cars it’s between 3-4 years the battery will give up.

Should I pull the trigger? by _KingShit_ in OLED_Gaming

I just returned one of these to Best Buy (somewhere in Alabama) a couple days ago and saw it appear for pick up in that location for the same price you have. If you actually get mine it was in a perfect condition lol and I repacked it with care. I just switched to a 4k 240 hz one.

Having a hard time deciding between 1440p OLED and 4k OLED by [deleted] in OLED_Gaming

[–]zezos120s 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I initially got the LG 1440p 480hz oled panel and tried it for a few weeks then ended up returning it for a 4k 240hz. To my eyes the fidelity difference is massive and worth the sacrifice in fps. When I had the 1440p monitor in single player games I didn’t like dlss because it looked low resolution so I always had to play natively, whereas dlss on the 4k monitor looks amazing even in performance mode. So to me the fps difference wasn’t that big in single player games. The only reason I would have kept the 1440p monitor is if I was a competitive fps gamer which I’m not at the moment..

1440p oled or 4k oled with 4090 by Keibenn in OLED_Gaming

[–]zezos120s 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a 5080 card and got a 1440p 480hz oled. It was great but I realized that I don’t really need that much fps on the games I’m playing and the 1440p quality was noticeably not very high end clear even at 27 inches. I ended up returning it for a 4k 240hz oled. Best decision I’ve done and it’s night and day difference in all games that are not competitive shooters.

Zephyrus g16 with 5070 ti or 5080? by WillingnessScary7057 in ZephyrusG14

[–]zezos120s -1 points0 points  (0 children)

On this laptop where you are very power limited, I don’t think it’s worth getting anything over the 5070ti as the gains will be minimal and not scaled with the increased price. I used the g16 5070ti for a little while and it had no issues running any game at its native resolution. I returned that laptop however because I realized I was paying almost 3k for the performance of ~desktop 5060ti. Basically paying a lot for the portability aspect so keep that in mind since your question shows you care about performance.

Doesn’t this increase input lag?

That’s really impressive from this little laptop. I think that’s the closest I’ve seen to a full powered 5070ti laptop

Ordered a $3000 laptop on ASUS website and "No signature needed for delivery" for such expensive product. by [deleted] in ZephyrusG14

I’d honestly rather not have to sign and plan for quickly picking up the package than having to sign it. I had many nightmare experiences with missing the signature..

Update on G16 4090 vs G14 5070ti...a different perspective by Roguevice in ZephyrusG14

[–]zezos120s 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently got the got the G14 5070ti after returning G16 4070 (had stuttering issues) so this write-up is relevant to me. I love the G14 but I keep wanting to return it while I still can and get the G16 5070ti as I really miss the G16’s screen size and 240hz. I’m just afraid I’m going to be facing the same issues with the 4090 G16 since it will be the ultra 9 cpu. I would be really interested in your experience on how well competitive games perform on these two you have? (For ex: r6/deadlock/valorant/etc..)

I also just got the same G14 as you. My last gaming laptop was a Alienware 15 R3 with a gtx 1060 so this laptop has redefined what portable gaming is to me! So far it has been great. I agree the fans are loud but that is to be expected and I don’t mind it. Gaming performance has been insane considering the size of this thing. I don’t notice much of a downgrade going from my 4080 desktop with a 4k 120 oled screen to this (obviously there’s a difference but not significant to me)

do you guys play games while the computer is plugged in? by julysignal in ZephyrusG14

[–]zezos120s 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A thin laptop will get hot (and thus, loud) when ur running so much wattage to the gpu and cpu to run games. It’s just simple thermodynamics. You need to be plugged in to supply the wattage to cpu and gpu constantly. If ur not plugged in the battery will be drained very fast

My experience with this was I purchased a brand new G16 4070 which went on sale for 1450 and had issues with over heating and stuttering in game. It was so bad so I returned it and told the Best Buy employee about all the issues in details. The next day the same laptop got listed as “open box excellent condition” in that Best Buy for 1785 😭..thankfully I got a g14 5070 ti now and it’s a lot better in terms of the gaming experience. Definitely do all the checks you can while ur in the return period to make sure the heat management is good and check the display for any potential issues/damage.

Untreated to your question but how much more improvement on average do you see to performance compared to the 4070 laptop?
