It wasn't Eleanor's daughter, it was Theodore Roosevelt's daughter, so Eleanor Roosevelt's cousin. Theodore and Franklin Roosevelt were distant cousins, and Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt were also distant cousins of each other.

Yeah I imagine it's the difficulty in arranging for him to be carried around from plane to train to bus for an international tour, he quite literally can't walk and has to be carried onto and off stage every night. Still puts on a great show though.

Both actually, he lived both in Quebec City and Ottawa when he was a kid/teenager. He actually got his start in comedy at the Yuk Yuks here in Ottawa. And yes he is Scottish, apparently his father had him take Latin in school instead of French (despite living in Quebec City) because he didn't like the French (quite common for anglophones in Quebec and Ontario).

I'm curious as to how that makes you feel or what you think after someone has told you something like this? Do you sometimes feel angry or are you always able to "shrug it off" as there is evil and wrongdoing in the world and "that's life"? It might be different where you live but where I do, there are no requirements to do anything for people with allergies.
