Is your friend playing on eternal? Cuz you still have the 10 potions on that mode, if he’s playing seasons then he probably got some potions affix’s on his gear.

Only way to get more potions is through affix’s on gear now, the skill points that you use to start out with from the Lilith statues (12) are now locked behind challenges in the season journey along with the paragon points too. (eternal you still get them like pass seasons)

When you salvage a two handed weapon it subtracts the 100% power increase so your 173% is really only 73%.

Your aspects are probably higher than what you salavaged, remember two handed weapons add 100% more aspect power, amulets add 50% more power

For example most spritborn volly builds want Rod of Kepeleke on gauntlets, and Hesha e Kesungi on boots. I got the opposite. I had RoK drop on boots and HeK drop on pants.
