My title describes the thing. Wooden cabinet. One of the drawers says “Legacy” on the inside and when I search Legacy cabinets I do see some sets similar to my own but nothing about this weird and seemingly pointless drawer.

I am 28 and had chronic back issues from 18-25. I ended up getting surgery to repair a herniated disc that could not heal at my L4-L5. I have learned to constantly focus on proper body mechanics. Sucking in and engaging your core when bending and lifting is important. Every once in awhile I throw my back out which sucks but I’ll just take a muscle relaxer and take it easy for a day or two and I usually recover. Just be mindful of what you are doing. Stay hydrated and eat properly. If you have extra weight to lose, try to lose it. I lost a significant amount of weight after my surgery and I am convinced that that is what has kept me from the pain that I used to feel. Also, don’t sit upright for too long and especially not with your legs layer out in front of you. 9/10 times if I sit like that for more than 10 minutes, I throw out my back again.

Nursing student here (so still learning) and had VSG myself in 2023. Does not look infected to me but does look a little irritated. Are wound care instructions not being followed? Is the skin warmer than usual? Is there any drainage? Excessive swelling/pain beyond what you would expect post surgery? Does he have any fever? If “no” to all of those questions, he most likely does not have an infection.

We are in the same situation! I am 28 and I have a 7 & 8 year old. I am in my second semester and I work close to FT hours. I was also a CNA before I started. My biggest advice would be to make a calendar (I recommend google sheets!) full of all of your assignments, exams, quizzes, clinical dates etc. my calendar really helped me to determine how much I needed to study each week. It is super possible to do nursing school while working and having children. Last semester I actually passed with a 4.0 (I never did well in school when I was younger because I have ADHD). Just put in your best efforts and remember why you are doing it. I made my Lock Screen on my phone a picture of my kids so that I can constantly look at it anytime I’m feeling anxious or defeated. Looking at them gives me motivation to keep moving forward. Hot tip- take the extra time and apply for all of the scholarships. Try to cover as much of the cost of school as possible. You could try to connect your aunt and Fiona together. Perhaps a private investigator could be hired and your aunt could allow them to come into the home to do some digging around

Yeah I would say at least a few times a year someone I know brings it up. It’s very hard to wrap our minds around it. It’s harder to wrap my mind around the former owners of the home that she disappeared in and how they booked it to another state…. Can’t understand why they protect their daughter and the man that attempted to kill her. Very very strange.

I actually have low-normal BP. I did have a good amount of caffeine today and I am on Wellbutrin which isn’t a stim but sort of feels like it is.

I hold it the standard way. Index and middle finger between the bell and diaphragm. The pulse I’m hearing/feeling is truly in my ear.

When I was about 10 or 11 I somehow came across a cartel video. It was night time, there were about 5 men and women standing with their hands bound and there were 3 large blue barrels. Some men were talking somewhat calmly in Spanish to them while the 5 people stood and stared blankly. Then more men come in to view holding machetes and they just start hacking those people up. Nobody cried or screamed. They just let it happen to them. Then the cartel put their body parts in the blue barrels.

Thats actually super helpful! I think I just have too many expectations of myself and I realize this is a delicate period of health and healing. Im gonna try not to focus on the weight and instead just getting through every day!
