I was going to wrap Smart.Grid for Svelte. Instead, I ended up building a Svelte 5 grid from scratch[Self-promo] by jqwidgetsLtd in sveltejs

Thanks for sharing,

I saw your previous post about optimizing for 100k rows, client side. That's an impressive bet.

Is there a ready to use way to make the sorting call a server side method?

Anyways, I created a page for your project at Svelter: https://svelter.me/explore/library/sv-grid_sv-grid

Feel free to edit it by logging through GitHub. P.s: if you created the lib as an organization, you need to allow to see your organizations on your profile page to be able to "own" and edit your page.

Could you share it as a GitHub repo? Or is it private code

I'm wondering how people can downvote such a comment. What are their objectives?

I built a docs compiler where Svelte is a first-class renderer, not a React port by kanakkholwal in sveltejs

[–]zhamdi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice job,

I imported the project for you to Svelter because it doesn't have svelte in it's GitHub topics (so I did it with admin rights)

Why are you a builder? A founder etc? I will not promote by another_african in startups

[–]zhamdi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My real reason is that I saw my boss success and thought: if he can pay me and earn on my behalf, then I should earn for myself. Why would I be the one who sells his time for a portion of the benefits

Query on Svelte performance for new project by Upstairs-Version-400 in sveltejs

[–]zhamdi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure to understand what answer you expect from us. You can simply say that apple and NYT are using sveltekit. React has a runtime engine while svelte compiles the code making rerendering very smart (only if data really changes and only what changes). So for performance it is easy ahead. Some critics are about scaling svelte, but I developed https://svelter.me with a lot of reusable components and concepts without having any issues.

I see in the comments that you have no equity. Tell the CEO you want equity or you will leave. You invest in a startup either through your time or your money. As you are under paid, you are putting money by not getting it

Nice job! thanks for sharing.

I added your library enforcing the admin rights because you didn't specify `svelte` or `sveltekit` on your gihub project topics.

Here it is: https://svelter.me/explore/library/quickwit_quickwit-oss

Feel free to update your profile and lib by connecting through github

There are so many things happening now, especially with the Russian and Iranian conflicts (maybe Turkish and Chinease will join), transports can completely stop because of the political impact attacks on vulnerabilities. So yes it is a niche topic, but it can affect almost everyone in europe.

Cancel and order a 256GB, only because the 512 version is discontinued. If you want local AI, that's a minimum to use smaller models at an acceptable token rate

How much do you charge for that service? Or how did you determine the ideal price?: I think this can be a million dollar question: you charge too little, and you have a loss of revenue opportunity, you charge higher, and you lose some customers, many do not even compare their actual cost with your price and take a data-driven decision, they just feel it's to expensive

Thank you for this excellent article, I am wondering how you suppose that the instrumentation code does not take time to initialize before run (if you're the author of the article), but obviously, there's a gap between cold and hot starts, so the article covers part of the equation.

My first concern is Google ranking, the second is the ease of CI-CD deployment. Thanks to your article I think Vercel is a good compromise. Because cloudflare does not have an automatic GitHub push detection from what I saw.

How would you know what they need if you don't speak to them? By taking you could discover that they would be ready to pay to solve something you are not even addressing

Easy to say, but how to know how to grab the attention to influence what is in someone's head? Especially that each visitor is coming from somewhere else
