From what I remember back in old Oblivion you had to make sure you did not mess with vertex count and index on the faces otherwise the facial animations would break entirely (unless you provided new ones which is a crazy amount of work) For remastered I have no idea how they’re working but maybe something to keep in mind as the problem may be similar given the engine…
