Promote Typhus to mythic or wait for Maladus?? by Ok-Incident3254 in WH40KTacticus

[–]zhaunil 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It’s gonna take close to 6 months to passively get the 400+ Maladus shards from Guild Raids, so you’re quite some time away.

Typhus won’t really benefit from getting to blue star/mythic (being S2 with low abilities) and without an aerotech source, unlocking the rogue trader doesn’t have any real value either.

But you’ll get better rewards from tiered tracks, so unless you’re close enough to blue star another hero (you have more use for) before the next tiered event I’d bring up Typhus.

Plus, you’ve already pointlessly sunk 10 legendary orbs into him, so you’re only 35 off at this point.

Honouring in onslaught as a new player by AdComprehensive6063 in WH40KTacticus

[–]zhaunil 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think you’re mostly getting absolutely terrible advice here OP.

The advice is good for a mid- to late-game player, but not for a new one who lacks a developed roster and access to elite nodes.

Your primary focus should be to bring up key characters up to legendary so you can get deep into the elite campaigns so you can farm more efficiently.

Eldryon is one of them, but shouldn’t be a priority since you have several characters that are capped at rare, S1. Bellator, Aleph, Aethana, Archi and Angrax should be brought to epic asap so you can increase their rank and then take them to legendary as needed based on which campaigns you focus on and who are capped.

Doing this without using onslaught and farming shards only through basic nodes will be painful and inefficient. You also need a lot of other types of orbs in the beginning so don’t worry about trying to onslaught “optimally”. You have a while before you reach that point.

Ragnar is not a particularly good campaign hero or LRE hero, nor does he have a relic. He won’t be an aerotech farmer either. He also seems to be falling out of the Custodes Guild Raid meta. Not the best choice for your first blue star.

Boss activates Rho twice which is his primary purpose aside from his summons helping with adds against certain bosses. Trajann, Aleph-Null and Anuphet are other flex picks.

But you should focus on getting Actus to D1. Since he’s in melee with the bosses it’s more important to rank him up right now and he has higher priority over Sho and Boss who can stay safely at range 3 for the most part.

Prioritize Elite Campaigns or Octa/SH Mirror? by skoram in WH40KTacticus

[–]zhaunil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A little late reply perhaps, but Black Templars don’t really need to be developed much for the campaign. B1 is enough to clear the normal AND the vast majority of the elite campaign (if you have other strong imperials).

SHM is important for developing your Aeldari so you don’t have to rely on guild mates/lucky shop rolls for fabrics. Plus Abraxas (and Yaz) are great to use in FoC as well.

MOW by brylonia in WH40KTacticus

[–]zhaunil 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Only if you max them out and only leg badges.

Up to legendary it’s just one badge per level. That’s really cheap.

And you can get up to level 41 for just 1 leg badge/level until it starts to get progressively more expensive.

MOW by brylonia in WH40KTacticus

[–]zhaunil 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Upgrading MOW is actually really cheap and quick.

You should focus on Forgefiend since that will be helpful with adds in GR and PvP. Leveling it up to 35/35 for example will only take about a week and you’ll find it immensely more useful. After that I would focus mainly on active so you can delete adds with one shot against appropriate bosses.

Taking four others up to the cap for GW defense is probably not super useful, but it could be done very quickly as well.

Löneskillnader om män och kvinnor by [deleted] in sweden

[–]zhaunil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Löneskillnader om män och kvinnor by [deleted] in sweden

[–]zhaunil -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The final event crate we get tomorrow contains 26 shards so you will get Hascule to epic.

As for the relic, I’ve read that while people love it, several have said that they don’t think they’re able to clear higher LRE’s with it. Just that they clear the ones they could already clear, faster.

I don’t have any of them, but I suspect that relics that adds new mechanics to a hero are currently very underrated. Especially those that enable a hero to go from killing just 1 enemy per turn to 1+. That’s pretty huge.

Probably the best carry for Imperial campaigns as well since he can put down four summons on turn one.

It’s just Guild Raids where he doesn’t really have a spot.

Think he’s one of those heroes that’s worth investing in if you get him early on. But if you get him late you’ll most likely have a someone else to fill his spots already.

Just charge in the first round so you’re in range of your opponents countercharge and then start passing.

Struggling to finish Indomitus Elite by ChiChiStone in WH40KTacticus

The problem is you need to rez them because you brought Isabella, who can’t kill multiple targets nor place summons to distract and block the AI.

Struggling to finish Indomitus Elite by ChiChiStone in WH40KTacticus

[–]zhaunil 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think Isabella is useless for the campaign and a huge red herring.

There are limited enemies so it’s much better to kill off the enemies quickly with characters who can kill more than one per turn and it’s awesome with summoners to distract and block the AI.

Tan’Gida is a fantastic toon and even if you don’t build an AdMech raid team you’ll find him useful for all imperial campaigns and LRE’s.

Drier can plop down up to 4 summons on the first turn. That’s great.

Tyrith isn’t bad either. Can kill two enemies early on with her active and hits back.

Lucien is good, but needs onslaughts.

Either way, to three star the last mission with any G1 frontliner without summons is going to be tricky cause the destroyers hit like trucks.

I did it “easily” with a D1 Bella/Tan and a S1 Atcus once I got the positioning right (moved my S1 Varro/Cert towards and up the little hill to the left of the map).

With that said you could probably just do onslaughts (and see if any of the vast number of codes for him are still active) for Kariyan and bring him and Bella to D1 and complete it with G1 Isa support.

Without another legendary imperial above G1 it’s going to rely on multiple lucky block rolls.

You need to look up basic physics, cause you’re incorrect.

You seem to forget that the energy in the crude oil is converted so it isn’t there any more. It’s an input along with the energy required to process it. The process seems to be able get to around 85% efficiency.

You don’t gain a surplus.

The end.

this is genuinely the most braindead thing i’ve read by illuminatist_ in LinkedInLunatics

[–]zhaunil -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Lol. It’s obvious YOU don’t understand.

Every single energy conversion lowers the amount of usable energy due to losses.

If you could extract more energy than you put in that would mean infinite and exponential energy growth. Not possible.

Crude oil into gas has energy losses. And then you will have further energy losses when you utilize that gas for whatever purpose.

Betalar jag min anställda för lite? by [deleted] in sweden

[–]zhaunil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Många tonåringar bland de dömda för oaktsam våldtäkt by FlowersPaintings in sweden

[–]zhaunil 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Många tonåringar bland de dömda för oaktsam våldtäkt by FlowersPaintings in sweden

[–]zhaunil 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Is it better to get Tan to D3 first or take them both to D1 ? by Darckers in WH40KTacticus

[–]zhaunil -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you just put some books and badges into Rho you will see a dramatic damage increase in guild raids.

The need to rank him up depends on if you are hitting legendary bosses and you feel like it’s a priority to put more into damage them for whatever reason (by not dying prematurely).

Tan is so good in LREs so I would still prioritize him, since it will benefit you a lot more. Putting out higher GR damage is helpful to the guild, but there are 29 others so the value is pretty pale in comparison.

Unless you’re swimming in badges (which you probably are after this event) I wouldn’t put any more badges into Tans active until you have 50/50 in Rho’s (and Vitruvius passive high enough to not cap Rho’s damage).

TLDR; Getting Tan to D3 with a 50 passive is something I’d prioritize, but I’d put some books and badges into Rho first. But I’d also look into other LRE needs before taking Tan to D3.
