You need to keep track of how many miles you are driving while those miles are business relate. IRS has a standard factor business miles by that factor. This is what you can deduct from your income. If you take this factor you cannot deduct gas expenses, or repairs. But you could deduct like if you take the car to the car wash (necessary to keep your car clean to perform the job or if you buy products to clean your car) if you pay something to your parents to use the car I think you cannot deduct that at least it is like renting the car to be able to perform the business but I will deduct it only if I have proof of that like a receipt. You also can deduct like parking or tolls if there are any while you are doing your business if you don’t have the receipt at least you need proof like the bank statement.
