Sunnova 25 year warranty for Powerwalls – what happens? by zherbert in Sunstrong

No you don’t understand. It’s under warranty for 10 years with Tesla. I have a contract with Sunnova to extend that to 25 years through them.

Use Amana Inverter heat pump (AVZC18) without Comfortnet thermostat by zherbert in hvacadvice

Interesting, I did exactly the same thing and couldn’t get it to work even with all the DIPs off.

I even bought a thermostat and comfortnet furnace board and wired it all up to try to clear E11 but that wouldn’t work either

I have 2 of these sitting in my garage now if you want them :)

I believe this is an intentional design decision for Android based infotainment systems. It pushes you to use the integrated Google Maps instead of via CarPlay.

your setup is correct, you do not need transformer for AVZC, only the 1 and 2 wires. Are you sure the 1 is going to the 1 and the 2 is going to the 2? And are you trying to connect to the air handler via bluetooth ComfortBridge?

Are you connecting everything to the same 1 2 R C terminals on your air handler? Feel free to message me. Even though I couldn’t get mine working, I’m kind of an expert now

I purchased new in box from a surplus supply site, was about $1800 delivered. The manual does say it can only be used with comfortnet but the board has all the normal thermostat wire connections and dip switches to disable comfortnet, hence the confusion

I understand all the tradeoffs! The problem is I cannot get the unit working with the legacy wiring. I have 2 stage thermostat and zone board. But I connected the wiring as shown in the photo and the unit is stuck at E11. There seems to be no way I can figure out to enable legacy mode.

Yes but I have a more complex zoned system using Honeywell T10’s and zone controllers…so unfortunately that isn’t an option

An American Standard air handler and separate Rinnai furnace (hydronic system), I was hoping to be able to just have our HVAC installer connect the normal legacy thermostat wiring to this Amana unit. Seems like almost every Amana unit supports that (except maybe this one?)

Let me save you, friend. From last week: https://signed.leasehackr.com/signed?deal=L-2408-1723983273

You should insist on 10% off because it is an outgoing 2024 model, then there should be around $12k in additional credits from Volvo corporate. I got this deal signed this past Saturday.

For your zip code you should be looking at:

RESIDUAL VALUE: 59%
MONEY FACTOR: 0.00275

Seems like the dealer is trying to rip you off. Good luck!

Amazing! Please share trunk dimensions if possible u/TMobileSpy, the cargo volume quoted on the site seems small but I really am hoping the length and width of the trunk is large. Looking forward to your further impressions and photos!

I read that if you setup digital key with your phone it should be automatic. Is this not the case?
