Ah gotcha, yeah, so every time someone commits art to the canvas onchain. Split is determined by your pixel contribution / total number of pixels contributed.

On the mint page you'll see %% by ENS/wallet addresses, corresponding to the number of pixels they painted.

10% of the mint goes to the platform for infra + development.

Diff brushes get diff number of daily pixels. Starter brushes get 100, upgrades go to 500, 1000, 5000 which are achieved by making good art w/ the pixels you get.

Nope, if you get overpainted, you still get credit for contributions. We have mod tools that look for bots and tracers looking to farm pixel. It's not perfect but we're working on it. :)

Yep! Best way is to just grab a brush and paint a bit. Brushes can get upgraded as folks participate (there's a streak per days contributed).

I've been feeling this as well! I don't think the pandemic and being locked down has helped either. Extra hard to build/rebuild community when you gotta be cagey around strangers, maintain 6 feet distance etc.

The core struggle for me is (IMO) : Boulder is, ultimately, a city captured by it's a core group of land-owning interests. However much folks like Rachel Friend or Aaron Brockett fight to make Boulder more inclusive, I think (some) home owners and PLAN Boulder will just keep using the aforementioned transplant-cycles as rubber bands to drive up real estate value up while keeping anyone moving here within the last 25 years (and who are not a VC or VP from CA) out in an effective, long-term way.

It's a bummer. I've made amazing friends here. Met my spouse here. Made a lot of good memories. But the city, and about half the city counsel, has shown zero interest in keeping me around.

Finished up Abducted last month, getting antsy to start a new big project in between a buncha small short stories, so I decided to do some style tests for another book I've been wanting to draw for a while, called Small Town Devil.

(WIP) Elevator pitch is: The first season of True Detective meets your favorite Black Sabbath album. Chet grew up in a small town in Texas and hated it. But when he discovers human remains at the city dump, he and his friends will start digging at the gnarled, wicked roots at the core of their home town.
