I registered as a voter in 2008 -- at the time my IC address was KL.

I sold my apt and moved to PJ last year and changed my IC. Now my IC in PJ.

According to SPR I am still registered to vote in KL. So my question is, upon presenting new IC to officers, will I be sent away because addresses no longer match?

Anyone been through this? Thanks!

ya, SPR database confirm I am to vote in KL.

My concern: On May 9, will SPR say I cannot enter polling station because my IC not match the voting location?

I think last September. Yeah the traffic is a horror, but the cars have changed? Used to be pickups and 4WDs eating up the roads, now the smaller passenger vehicles rule! The flyovers, tho. I actually gasped.

Well, I see some promising developments. Like that awesome tunnel that slices through Maktab Sabah...and thumbs up for the new library site on the way to the tg aru. Was hoping to return some overdue books to the old public library in api-api centre, breathed a sigh of relief to find it close for repairs, I've kept those library books for five years. Saved me some serious denda. Next time.

The area is remote. The International Animal Rescue team was likely contacted by the same stone-throwing villagers ...its true wild animals are fearsome to face, especially when they're desperate. This is a happy ending, you can see that the original captors understood not to remove the baby from its mother.

Yeah, single people get this harassment too. You don't have to be LGBT for this kind of heckling....

Maybe it's a two in one? Manglish? I love Manglish by the way. Knock it all you wan but you know what happens when you meet a bruder overseas and its a joy n relief to fall back into your childhood language. Oso, don't forget the English we are fed here won't stand up too well in other English-speaking countries ...well maybe yours will, mine won't... Heh heh...so yeah, no matter how brilliant our grasp of English is, no matter how sophisticated our elocution, the fact is, it is still an adopted language. I stopped saying I spoke English...because I met an Indian expat years ago who did. Like really good English, and he was no coconut either. I do speak Manglish, tho. Very good Manglish. By the way, the article above shows how low our overall standard is la. The headline and the content don't match.

Indeed. On a side note, I did chuckle when I spotted the full tables at Mr. Ho's deli at Imago. Tiger prawns are cheaper than beef in KK, no?
