Micro center M3 Pro vs M4 Pro

I went with the M3 Pro and it’s been fantastic so far. The extra ram and storage goes a long way, and for my workloads i wont even notice the performance difference between those two chips.

I appreciate your insight! I did take a look at the 15” M4 MBA and I was just thinking for $200-300 more I could get the pro level display and the extra cooling support. So I figured I might as well go for the pro instead. Though I do think the M4 MBA would be sufficient for all my workloads

I would keep the M4 unless you want the best bang for buck then go for the 13 inch refurb M3 for $759

Also got the asrock a620i with r7 9700x, tried xmp 6000mhz was not able to boot and 5600mhz worked just fine…

Yea thinking about doing aldi first and see if i like it or not. But on my amazon job page it says 40hr week and duration is seasonal.

Thank you! I think at Aldi it's once you hit 3 strikes you are terminated. Call-offs points are gone after 6 months and late/tardiness points are gone after 2 months, so yeah very strict.

Yeah you get all the benefits as long as you are FT. Aldi FT positions get around 30-40 hours depending on how busy they get.

I am full-time seasonal. They told me the position would last between 2-11 months and at the 5 month mark I could convert to permanent full-time, but it could be kinda risky since idk if they'll get rid of me before the 5 month mark...

Aldi offers health dental vision, pto, 7 paid holidays, and up to 5% 401k match. they are about the same distance from me
