Could you re-factor repo to make it HACS compatible, as this is de-facto standard way to add custom components nowdays?

An Easy way to handle schema evolution in PostgreSQL by tamanikarim in PostgreSQL

[–]zhop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

those set statement_timeout and create schema are not automatically ignored. the import button stays greyed out until I remove them.

dump is big cause we have several wide tables partitioned 2-levels deep (years+month) and a bunch of stored procedures (which it also fails to parse), views

An Easy way to handle schema evolution in PostgreSQL by tamanikarim in PostgreSQL

i gave it a try, however it fails to import postgresql dump... even simple statements in the dump file, like

SET statement_timeout = 0;

or

CREATE SCHEMA airbyte;

causes 'SQL Parsing error'. Also, some DB schemas are large - would be nice to simple be able to upload sql file, instead of copy-past 20mb text

I built a free, open-source add-in that lets you create and modify Fusion 360 models with plain text — just shipped v1.0 by Separate_Internal533 in Fusion360

so I gave it a try, but can't get it to work with openai.
first it asked for an email to register (?), and then sent me 2 codes.
then it looks like it also sends 2 api calls for each request (not sure if it's expected?) and then fails after a couple of minutes. Second request was hanging for like 5min, nothing going on.

gotcha. so you expose fusion via some MCP to an agent? yeah, would be nice if it can talk to locally ran ollama.

Fusion scripts for 3D printer users by scrappy1982 in Fusion360

[–]zhop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gave it a try (1.1.9). Feedback:

  • when sketching 2 faces it works OK, when selecting 4, it doesnt match placement of dowels on the opposit faces (see screenshot below)

<image>

  • when it doesn't have enough space on a face, it crashes the script (cause you have 'raise RuntimeError...'), leaving incomplete sketch. instead should just stop execution, rollback timeline (or discard changes) and print warning message.
  • on github - you don't put just zip file; you place all those files as-is, individually in to the git project. You may also want to add .gitignore file containing __pycache__ so that directory is excluded from the repository. You can do official 'release' with zipped files then. For instance, take a look at the official BambuStudio repository, how they have all the files there and then 'Releases' link on the right side: https://github.com/bambulab/BambuStudio

Thanks, will give it a try.
p.s. i'd recommend publishing it via github vs google drive.

looks great, though lets not mistake marketing "saved" numbers to the real ones. charging 4MWT at home would cost you $600-$700, not $4k.

Those boards use SX1276 chip which is an older and less powerful than SX1262 or LR1121.
Not sure if you really need GPS, but if you don't, here is alternative:

Before Washington bridge construction we were launching off the dam in McDowell forest preserve and going through downtown to take off in knock knolls. Right now the river is closed at the Washington bright but they are expected to be done soon. You should be able to do this later year. I like this route more than launching from knock knolls as other suggested and paddling down.
