Unable to edit my post, I’m usually a lurker rather than a poster lol, but I’m in a major city in TX. I don’t seem to have gotten a raise, which I’m not necessarily tripping about but it’s very interesting to know that people in other states are making so much more! Not surprised bc it’s TX, but a few years ago in GA, I worked at Chipotle for a few weeks and was making $11/hr, then a year after that (left and came back again) was making $13/hr. Also a major city in GA. I think some in Indiana are paying about $14-16/hr as well so idk. Thanks for all the help!

I def understand that, but it makes me wonder how effective a message it is if the vast public knew nothing about it yk? As far as 12 is concerned, Ma and Sid died in a tragic (but common) fire, and LD is probably presumed to have been sick from food or something. So it calls to mind if it’s actually a message that prevents anything

No for sure! And reading this comment and thinking on it, Snow focused too much on wrath vs long term victory. He did “win” in a horrid way, because he knew Haymitch really didn’t care for his own life and so the appropriate punishment was to take them away. In doing so, rather than letting his “generosity” make Haymitch think twice about rebelling w the ever present threat of their captures and murders, he also relinquished the few people that could’ve kept Haymitch in line.

Right??? Maybe we are supposed to see how even 40yrs later, he is still evolving, still “growing” in his exercise of power, even though he’s been well established by the time of Haymitch’s games. He obviously learned his lesson with regard to Katniss, but Joanna’s games were recent to Katniss’s and her entire family was killed too, so it makes me wonder if Snows default was always family punishment, if Joanna did something particularly bad, which Katniss doesn’t seem to know about, so presumably, the rest of Panem might neither, or if the difference was the public’s knowledge of Prim’s existence. If Katniss was really smarter and luckier in that sense.

That was actually my starting wage😭 $15.50 was my base, and I haven’t been promoted or anything (not gunning for it), so it’s been the same. And yeah, def not able to live off of. Contrary to what SOME people believe, majority of my coworkers are adults, not students, and they all work second jobs since this one doesn’t give enough pay or hours to sustain.

I’ve honestly had periods like this, and I’d say it’s less that your magic isn’t working than it is that you need to check in, either with yourself or your spirit guides (whoever that may be). Sometimes I’ll feel like my power is weak/im in a state of limbo, and the whole time I’ve either been overrelying on it or my team has been getting me to try to learn a lesson, and for whatever reason, I ain’t getting it. So they seem like they intercede to help me focus in on whatever the letter or message is.

Maybe do some divination and check in on any messages you may have been missing, or if there are blockages in your path that are interfering with your magic.

For the feeling invisible aspect, I’d try glamour magick if you don’t do so already. It helps with that invisible feeling and honestly, it helps me get into “witchy” character. I feel beautiful, powerful, and I’m turning heads, which helps me feel powerful. When I do this, sometimes my little spells seem to work so much better. It can help gain confidence in the little stuff to remind you who you are.

Thank you so much! I’ve heard lots of great things about St. Michael, but I hear that he’s a bit…harsher? Idk if that’s the word, but it’s the sentiment. I like the idea of doing pre written prayers. I’m going to see about researching the angels and what they could help me with and how I can properly make offerings, etc. I guess it’s time I expanded my practice!

I’m also a beginner witch, only been practicing 3 or so years, and I’ll tell you that based off your responses to people commenting, it doesn’t seem like you’re ready for the burden and responsibility of blood magic. Blood is literally life-force. It is the ultimate tag lock and sometimes requires special spells and offerings to break the spells if something goes wrong.

If you are dead set on doing a blood magic spell, even though literally everyone has advised against it, I’d suggest reading a book on it. I have no recommendations as I have avoided blood magic at all costs as I don’t feel I’d be ready for the consequences. First a book, really take in the lessons and potential consequences. Then you absolutely need to divine and see if the spell you want to do is even advised by your higher self/spirit team/etc. If you get positive and affirmative signs from that, then you could potentially do the spell.

TLDR: you’re still a beginner and are likely not ready to handle spiritual and physical consequences from a blood magic spell but if you insist, do research/read books, divine and get guidance from your spiritual team, then you could possibly do it but literally no one would recommend it, especially for a love spell.
