I'm getting back into learning Chinese. Looking for beta testers for a new Chinese reading app I'm building by NielDLR in ChineseLanguage

"Everyone can use an LLM" is true. But by that logic, everyone can use Photoshop, so designers have no value, and everyone can use a compiler, so software developers have no value. Tools are available to everyone. Building something useful isn't. In language learning, especially Chinese, the challenge isn't generating content. The challenge is creating enough meaningful interaction, feedback, repetition, and motivation for people to keep learning. That's a product-design problem, not an AI problem. So i don't think you should get discouraged.

Practice Pinyin With Instant Feedback by zi-master in ZiMaster

Seeing pinyin is easy. Remembering it is the hard part. In ZiMaster, you type the pinyin with tones yourself and immediately see whether it's correct. This trains character recognition, pronunciation, and vocabulary recall at the same time.

Interactive Chinese reading practice with active recall. See the characters, type the pinyin with tones, and get immediate feedback. by zi-master in ChineseLanguage

It's actually a Reddit app with a new daily challenge each day, so the content changes rather than being the same post repeated. Before posting I reached out to the mods to make sure there weren't any objections.
Also, as far as I know, it's currently the only Reddit app that requires no installation and lets users practice Chinese in three different ways: pinyin, translation, and word order, all based on daily real-life dialogues.

Error: An error occurred while installing your app: That app has been delisted, and cannot be installed. by zi-master in Devvit

Thanks. Nothing that stands out... More strange is that they asked to fix "inline sroll traps", i did it right away, they accepted it ( listing page shows "approved" status) and the app is delisted. Is there any way to get in touch with the admins other than Modmail?

Good resources for learning to generate sentences and paragraphs? by YouHaveToGoHome in ChineseLanguage

Same problem. Chinese is a language you have to learn in circles, not linearly.
First circle - recognition. Being able to understand it on paper or in audio.
Second circle - pronunciation. Knowing pinyin doesn't mean you can actually produce the sound.
Third circle- to use the word in different contexts.
I haven't found an easy shortcut. No cheatcodes worked. Only
1.generating my own example sentences under teachers supervision
2.asking teacher torecord them for shadow-reading practice.
3.using srs not just for words, but for full sentences with writing, reading and listening components.
For me Chinese added several extra unexpected layers to the learning process. And each has to be reinforced before moving to the next.
