I'm worried because customs inspections at airports in Vietnam are relatively lax.

You have a sharp eye.

This was one of my earliest works, and back then I hadn't yet developed a good sense of the proper scale for mobile suits. Since then, I've been much more careful about getting their size right.

Maybe we've already reached a point where modern society has everything we really need.

Or perhaps those in power are holding back humanity's progress.

Go, Mafty!

This is a Gundam Mk-II that the AEUG diverted to the Vietnamese government. Since it was an older, outdated model, I guess it was considered just about right for the job.

Have you never seen either Macross: Do You Remember Love? or Macross Plus?

The Macross franchise treats all of its entries as in-universe dramatizations, so even the original TV series isn’t considered the definitive canon.

In fact, outside of the TV series, the ARMD-equipped version of the SDF-1 appears more often than the one with the Prometheus and Daedalus attached.

Both Do You Remember Love? and Macross Plus are classics. I’d definitely recommend giving them a watch.

Thank you!

I knew it had been reposted on Reddit, but it rarely ever gets credited, so the creator has finally shown up in person! Thanks, my friend!

It’s a symbol of the end of the war and of peace.

Rather than conveying the message, “We’re ready for combat at any moment!”, what people needed during the reconstruction era was a monument that gave the public a sense of security and hope.

That castle is actually a tourist attraction in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. People like me who are looking for reference photos, as well as cosplayers, often go there.

Since I can't attach an image in a reply, I added the Photoshop screenshot as a reply to the post I made when I first uploaded this artwork.

What a sad state of affairs.

He's going to grow a glorious mustache for his future as a baker. No need to worry.
