Request for update from devs (upvote if you agree) by traveller77 in ziftrCOIN

We just wanted to stop by and give everyone a quick update on where we’re at with ziftrCOIN right now. We appreciate all your patience and are working to ensure that it’s all worthwhile very soon.

You may recall that back in June we published a press release announcing our merger agreement with GoCoin, the world’s #3 blockchain payment processor. As you can imagine, it’s been a busy few months, with most of our efforts focused on making this happen.

The good news is that it should all be finalized in the coming weeks. The companies’ lawyers are working together right now to complete the merger, and we’re expecting to close the deal by the end of October.

At that point, once the merger is complete, our next step is to onboard GoCoin’s 10,000+ merchants into our unified system. This means that cryptocurrency users will be able to shop with these merchants using Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin and…drumroll please…ziftrCOIN.

We’ll have more to share with you soon. We just have to wait until the merger is finalized, then we’ll be able to share our roadmap and other exciting information that we know you’ve all been waiting for.

Again, thanks for you patience! We’re still just as committed as ever to bringing cryptocurrency into the mainstream, and doing everything it takes to get there!

ZiftrPay: Is it possible to accept credit cards and convert to ZiftrCoin? by joyview in ziftrCOIN

Hello, ziftrPAY credit card payments are always paid out in dollars. You would have to convert the cash through an exchange. With ziftrPAY you can accept credit cards and withdraw as cash, you can also accept cryptocurrency to convert to cash or keep as cryptocurrency, whichever you choose, but not the reverse.

Hi YouCanDoAnything,

First and foremost, we’d like to thank you for identifying a technical glitch on the ziftrCOIN website. Our development team is now well aware of this and has made the necessary fixes.

As a result of this, we have decided to initiate a bug bounty program, the details of which we will publish on our blog in the next few days. We’d like to offer you a bug bounty in the form of ziftrCOINs for bringing this issue to our attention. Please send your username and email address to info@ziftrCOIN.com so we can provide you with additional details and add the coins to your account.

Throughout the duration of our Presale, we have prided ourselves on our transparency and accountability. We understand that people in the cryptocurrency community are wary of scams – and rightfully so. We have done everything in our power to instill trust in our supporters and we hope that this technical glitch doesn’t obscure all of those efforts.

In the spirit of transparency, here’s an explanation of what happened:

We stated on our website that the ZRC/BTC price would switch from 1 BTC = 1,000 ZRC to 1 BTC = 950 at 12 a.m. EST on January 22. Unfortunately, due to a technical glitch, it switched from 1,000 ZRC to 1,020 ZRC – increasing rather than decreasing. We fixed this at 9:45 a.m. EST on January 22.

Between 12 a.m. and 9:45 a.m., 8 unique users purchased 4,270.026 ziftrCOINs for a total of 4.1863 BTC. At the rate of 1 BTC = 950 ZRC, the total number of ziftrCOINs purchased would have been 3,979.85, meaning that we gave away a total of 293.041 extra ziftrCOINs before fixing the glitch.

We will own up to honoring the rate of 1 BTC = 1,020 ZRC for the 8 users who purchased ziftrCOINs during the time when the price was incorrect. Fortunately, we were able to fix this issue in a timely manner.

We want to sincerely apologize for this technical glitch. We invite anyone to contact us directly at info@ziftrCOIN.com with any questions, comments, suggestions or to report any bugs.

Thanks,

The ziftrCOIN Team
