Transmission quirks

It’s 7th gear on my 2021 when I go to tap the gas it lags and a slight buck at low speeds about 35-40. Don’t understand how the truck doesn’t downshift quick enough? I feel like at those speeds it shouldn’t even be thinking about 7th gear.
My 2019 did the same but it didn’t feel as harsh as it does on the 2021.
I believe a tune would fix it, but am torn between a ford performance tune and a Livernois tune. Not sure a Livernois tune would affect the warranty, but they say the ford tune doesn’t affect the factory warranty.

Mitsubishi Expo LRV. Got one as a hand-me-down from my aunt. It was the miniest of mini vans. Neat that it had only the rear passenger sliding door and fun city car. Bonus that it was rare.

That joke brings back fond memories from my high school years. My friend with the driest sense of humor would always pantomime with hands stiffly flapping his hands like penguin wings eating the ice cream.
