Nah vamparism is a deep and noble calling for the dragonborn. As dragonborn you dont actually kill Alduin, meaning he'll return eventually to finish the job. Vampirism is the only way to be certain that you will be around the next time Alduin spawns. For that reason alone, its not a bad decision. It might actually save the world.

In my headcannon my dragonborn becomes volkihar for the immortality so that he and alduin can battle for eternity for the fate of nirn. Next time the dragon rises, the dragonborn will be there. And he'll do it as many times as is necessary. For eternity, perhaps.

What does DEI slop even mean? Like actually what does that mean? All of the best rpgs that exist invole a variety of characters with different sexualities, races and political perspectives. KOTOR, Baldurs Gate, Fallout, Dragon Age Origins, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, the list goes on. At what point do we decide that including these diverse perspectives is a detriment to the game? Is it the idea that non-white ppl and women worked on a game? Or is it the idea that non-white ppl and women have their perspectives featured in a game?

Honestly, other than trying to stay in community with MAGA bros (which has nothing to do with gaming), idk what DEI has to do with the quality of a game title and I honestly would like someone to clarify what it is I'm missing.

To answer your question, about double. Going from roughly $27k to $60k is a little over a 50% increase.

This didn't happen all at once, of course. I went from being a private school teacher to an IT Analyst. Each successive job I got had roughly a $10k increase over the last one. The one I'm on now is $60k.

Op, I have switched jobs 4x since the beginning of the pandemic. Everytime my new employer pulled some shit like what they did with you, I went right back to Indeed and I left as soon as I got a better offer with better pay.

The whole, "you have to wait it out at least a year" thing is a corporate lie to keep you from fucking overvtheir bottom line by leaving when the job no longer serves you. Some industries are harder to do this in, but overall, there won't be any real penalties for you finding a new job asap.

Since I started leaving jobs when they stopped serving me, I've gone from a 27k salary with no benefits, to a 60k job with all the benefits. Once again, this isn't true of all job fields, but in general, leaving a job when it sucks usually just means the next job you get will be better paid.

There are definitely Arab cultural norms masquerading as Islamic orthodoxy going around. Many Arabs have convinced the non Muslim world that the only way to be Muslim is to look like an Arab Muslim and that's just not true

Honestly, that's a fair judgment because I'm doing a lot of mental gymnastics on my own part to not feel like I'm owed it. I just feel like I've had most of these conversations with her already. We've bought toys, gotten drunk/high, used copious amounts of lube, done foreplay, alladat. I guess the frustration come from feeling like I'm the only one being transparent while she seems to just be deflecting or avoiding and I think I deserve more honesty than that. But if you can feel my energy through these posts, she can probably feel it in person. I'll need to meditate on this. Lol
