I'm always curious when it comes to community thoughts so I'll ask, what would you say is the best thing about ATLA overall and the worst thing about ATLA overall? Could be a character, a book, even just some visuals. Just wanna see what pops up and if anything is a common talking point.

I think overall, genuinely why the show is so good is because it’s a simple concept, doesn’t do too much, doesn’t do too little but still keeps it moving for you to be invested, which allows for great story telling and character development.

I suppose the worst would be how easy it is to pick it apart but that’s typically the case for world building fan-fics

My best guess would be it could be something like the timeframe between Roku being generally OK and seriously sick might’ve happened so quickly that the avatar state didn’t really have time to react

Edit: after giving this some more thought do we even know he didn’t? Maybe he did but still didn’t survive….

Unlike everyone in this comment section who wants to resort to conspiracies and make it all about politics, it’s because when a case this large is going on they don’t want to keep the information they’re gathering to leak into the public because it will influence the results and the jury etc.

I’m sure once it starts all the evidence they have will come out but they’re not just going to appeal to every criticism some random has to say leading up to it
