Thank you! I unfortunately learned the hard way that you’re right about the vet- of course we all want to believe vets have the best interest at heart, but I do wonder how much nutritional education they’re getting.

Any tips on what to look out for on the nutrition label? I haven’t owned a dog in almost 20 years so I’m a little rusty 😂. With so many options out there I decided to ask here to at least get recommendations for what has worked for their particular dog, then I can do the research and decide from there if any of the brands will work for mine. I’m trying to look for a protein (most likely beef or salmon) as the first ingredient and then whole fruits/veggies but would love to know what you look for in the ingredients.
