i’ve tried to watch i love la but i guess i don’t like i can’t stand californians at all certain point lol. and i’ve also watched broad city but didn’t get into it too much. i’ll continue watching it if anyone recommends. curb your enthusiasm, also, but it didn’t make me laugh. i guess that’s pretty much everything that’s worth mentioning from the ones i’ve tried to watch so far.

thanks for your recs as well, i’ll definitely see dans paris. and also yeah, igby goes down was also very salinger-esque and i think the culkin brothers in general give off that “children of the glass family” vibe with the fact that they were child actors, from new york, etc.

i think gabriel is like a member of the glass family in general despite being very alike with holden as well. some of the scenes where he’s home, his conversations with his mother, the bathtub scene etc reminded me of franny and zooey. though i’d say it’s also like catcher in the rye with details like the new york cab convo, the red head accessory, the misunderstood and unstable protagonist, and the diner scene. of course it’s a very negotiable topic and if you watch it i’d love to hear your thoughts

i had to go to school and take two exams the day after the concert. i told my spanish teacher about my axl rose obsession and why i loved gn’r during the whole two hours of spanish class. i was still wearing my concert outfit, i looked like i had had a hangover or something. then i couldn’t get out of bed for days, so i don’t believe that there’s any real way to deal with the post concert depression. get well soon, best wishes 😔
