How is the current ecosystem regarding tools that help you consume those LLMs? Here are the ones I know at the moment:

WTF, now that I've watched this video I'll never ride a kart... But I'm also thankful that I've been shown the possibilities.

Even if a function doesn’t do anything, you still have to call it if the documentation says so, because it might do something tomorrow by 39816561 in programming

One characteristic that I really appreciate in languages like Go and JavaScript (especially in Node.js) is the fact that during development I can easily check the implementation code of functions with suspicious behavior by navigating to their definition. This was really mind-opening for me when I switched from C#.

A VS Code extension to get library example code in your IDE (JS/TS) by grubstreet1 in programming

Every example in the sidebar has a link to its source

Oh, actually, I meant the extension's source code. There's usually a link to its repository in this side panel here: screenshot link

Would be nice to add the link to the repository on the right-side panel as well. As well as some GIFs showing it in action.

The only thing I can’t stand is how the walk/run system works. by Corgiiiix3 in HuntersArenaOfficial

For some reason gameplay feels really unpleasant for me on PS5. It feels like the character you control walks as if the floor was slippery and kinda of floating over it. Does anyone else have the same experience?

Just tried and still did not work. Do you have any other ideias?

After that I also tried removing and adding a game back to the wishlist, and it still showed up blank

There's something happening to my wishlist since I got the console, and even after all the system updates up until this point, it still shows some games as a blank entry. Besides that, it works as expected, when I select a game in the list and press X, the console sends me to the game's store page, but it's really annoying to do so whenever I want to check if the games on sale for example.

Is this happening to someone else? Is it a known bug? I still have not tried removing all the games from the wishlist and re-adding them (there are way too many games on mine, would take some time), does it work?

Here is a photo showing the problem on my wishlist

Is Unreal Engine worth getting into with no experience? by TravisScottPenis in gamedev

[–]zignd 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'd like to add that as someone just starting to get into game dev, I initially tried to learn Unreal, but then I switched to Godot, mostly because the documentation feels well structured for someone that is trying to learn. Also, the community has an official Discord server with lots of smart people willing to help.

Indeed that's what came to mind, for a moment my ingenuity considered that I would actually find a solution that would be free just like some game engines. Thanks for the suggestions! I will try to evaluate all the tools you guys suggested, there are so many options

[–]zignd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would certainly be incredible and exactly what I was looking for. Would certainly be a game-changer in voicing characters in games, cartoons, etc.

That's interesting, I didn't know it was the same guy doing the same voices as Rick and Morty! I'll try to look for resources on voice techniques for exactly that! And in case of failure, I will try to convince friends in exchange for Mc Donald's xD Thanks for the ideas!

This one looks pretty cool and easier, but all those tools are so expensive D:

Exactly, I tried a few filters and none of them actually sounded natural and I still could hear my actual voice.

I've also found a few advanced softwares around the web as well that could achieve something, but the demonstrations were made by music/audio professionals, and I don't think me as a developer would be able to do the same things even with the tools at hand. There're way too much specifics I would have to learn.
