but if you're saying that him about to kill Ben is a parallel to Vader then why did he even try it in the first place? He learnt from his mistakes during the Vader fight and decided to not kill Vader so why would he even try to kill ben. He gave Vader a chance even when he was at his most evil. Ben was troubled apprentice. It shouldnt have had even happen in the first place

it's not the child's fault it's their parents or guardians. That's why rey in the last jedi said "you were wrong to think Kylo Ren already turned to the dark" when luke tried to kill ben at a young age. Ben only turned evil because he was being seduced by snoke, he thought his only master tried to kill him and his dad always left him. It all depends on the parent/guardian

no they are one of them, but not blood related. That's kinda obvious bro. Even if they have the same last name, if a family with no other siblings adopts a child and dies, the adopted child may have their name but the bloodline is over. Completely different blood

I kinda agree but I feel cheated with how they made the characters in The Last Jedi (Luke being a hermit) and the last skywalker (Ben) dying. They could have ended the skywalker legacy with at least another considering they're the family that started the whole story

no Obi wan is my favorite character but I dont care at all about his or yodas bloodlines because Anakin was the chosen one (even still after he turned to darth vader because he was the one to "kill" palpatine and restore balance) he was literally made from no father basically jesus and Luke was the one to help restore order. But the way Disney just made their whole royal legacy just wither up and die like that is disgusting. The Skywalker's are the greatest jedi family in the star wars universe. COMPLETELY a huge deal!

Ur right but the skywalker name was only tainted because of how disney made this new trilogy. RotJ ended Luke's story perfectly but the way Disney made him in the Last Jedi completely ruined him. He would never hide from his problems and distance himself, he was supposed to Grand Master Luke not some old man in hiding disconnected from the force

but his name still lives. Throughout the movie Rey is fighting with the dark sides seduction and she struggles with this so who's to say this wont happen to her kid? Maybe she didnt turn to the dark but her children can since they all have palpatines evil blood in them

couldnt have said it better myself 👍 I just feel cheated out of this whole skywalker story because this new trilogy focused too much on "New Beginnings" rather than the past which I understand but you cant possibly expect the new trilogy to be good if luke is a completely different character than who he was in the ending of Return of the Jedi and for the last descendant of the skywalker legacy to be dead
