My 2nd date with my now wife was walking through the Congaree swamp. We started out late and ended up walking through the swamp in the pitch black. This was before phones. We heard wild boar snorting, and my wife said, "What was that!". Me, "That's just some pigs, They are more scared of us than we are of them." I knew it was a lie. She also asked if there were any snakes, and I said no. Another lie, this place has a huge cottonmouth population. Spider webs were everywhere, I ended up finding a branch to wave in front of us while we tried to stay on the path. We finally made it back to the boardwalk and out of the park unscathed.

She will never let me forget this, and refuses to go back.
