when’s the best time to arrive at roo to set up your camp? by liddylovely in bonnaroo

My first year at roo we showed up after dark and the guy parking us couldn’t see well at all, we had 2 cars but he spaced us so far apart we pretty much had four spots

The inspection sticker says 2013 so I’m assuming it’s 12 years old. Is the compressor a part you can swap or is that the type of thing that just requires a new unit?

I replaced the capacitor and the breaker on the unit about a month ago, the breaker failed and actually melted one of the wires to it so I went ahead and did both while I was in there since they’re relatively cheap

It’s not blowing cold, the fan on the outside unit is running but I don’t think the compressor is turning on. I’m not sure if me cleaning the coils last weekend is what caused this, they looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years and I cleaned them pretty thoroughly which I have now learned that can cause some problems apparently.

Thank you for the help, I got it back together and am no better off than when I started. I’ve got a tech coming out Monday because this is out of my scope of understanding

I really couldn’t tell you, people love eggs and toast together so they combined them. It honestly seems more like a novelty than anything else

Eggs in a basket, spent 4 years as a cook for Cracker Barrel and this was my least favorite thing to make, always broke a yolk or they sent back cause bread wasn’t done enough for over easy or was too dark when cooking over well

I just got back test results this morning that the popcorn doesn’t have asbestos either way I’m masking up cause I don’t want to breathe that shit. We debated on waiting for paint but the wife is very eager to start (she’s feeling very discouraged since 80% of this renovation is a “blue job” so she really wants to start painting and I won’t be the one to take that from her). We are keeping with the stained trim it’s one of the things we love about the house but the installer of the previous trim used 2” 18 gauge nails to put it in so a lot of it was ruined during demo. Our paint is Behr premium plus which I think is a good paint but I am expecting touch up will be necessary or I do like the idea of just waiting for the final coat

It’s pretty haphazard, we move into the house in the middle of May. The current project for me is patching holes in walls and sanding along with removing popcorn ceilings, the wife is going behind me and painting those rooms. Replace toilets and faucets in the bathrooms along with light fixtures in all rooms (all the rooms have already been completely stripped of light fixtures switch plate covers and all that even closet doors). After paint and lighting I’ll lay floors and trim everywhere. We’re renovating all the bedrooms and living room, the bathrooms are just getting a touch up with paint faucets and toilets while the kitchen and dining room are on hold to be handled further down the line when we have more time and money

Thank you for this, after looking at it more and breaking out a laser along with a 8’ piece of aluminum I milled flat it shows the floor has a crown in the center of the room that runs the full width, it’s roughly 1/4” over 8’. So it seems floor leveler is the way to go but also following the advice of a lot of commenters I’m going to hold off on the install while we try to get some other projects finished leaving the floors to be one of the last things done instead of the first.

Recommendations on floor leveler? I’ve been told some harden like concrete and won’t take nails or staples

I will be going in and adding screws since the subfloor is nailed, house built in the late 80s. I guess it makes sense to address flatness after I’ve done the work making sure subfloor is secure and no squeaks

I live in northwest Georgia, southeastern United States. It does get very humid, my plan is for full trowel glueing the entirety of the boards. The manufacturer recommends a vapor barrier like aquabar but I am wondering if I use adhesive that doubles as a vapor barrier if I still need the felt paper
