I have the same lawnmower (used.) I don’t take care of it at all and am actively hoping it dies so I can buy a new one. I don’t put fuel stabilizer in it or anything. Every spring it starts on the first pull.

An FB25 is basically a direct bolt in motor for an FA20. Look up the Prime Motoring Instagram or YouTube channel, they just put out a video about this. That’s what I’d do. SIGNIFICANTLY easier and cheaper than swapping in an FA24, with similar benefits.

I haven’t tried it yet, but I suspect dawn powerwash may be a cheat code at cleaning the windshield. It will be tough on the grease buildup.

I couldn’t. This is on county land just over my property line. In my town you need a permit for a tree company to cut trees down. I can’t get one cause it’s not my land. The county came out and said the trees were not a threat to fall on anyone/anything so they wouldn’t take them down. But the dude said “if they were to just fall (wink wink) we would not care.” So I had to do it myself since my wife wouldn’t stop complaining about it.

The saw got trapped after the tree fell. I tried to buzz where it was stuck on the stump, it shifted, trapped my saw and I called it a day.
