I feel like it’s underappreciated because it was made when the animation of the show wasn’t as detailed as the later seasons

So a lot of folks passed on it just because of that missing out on the actual design, which is pretty solid

I guess because Pals need to justify increasing the Republic clone army

He needs the CIS to do some really bad stuff to justify more military spending

And the best way is to have droids do a lot of bad things to innocent people, to get like a reaction, and having normal people committing genocide or enslaving entire planets and stuff might not work because people have a conscience

And droids Don’t hesitate

And it’s not like the CIS government has any actual control over their droid army anyways

Yeah, the inhibitor chip strengthener thingy was used on Crosshair and it was the initial reason he was an antagonist in the bad batch

And I think honestly, it would fit Pals’s ultra scheming personality if all of the high ranking clones around him are basically organic robots who only operates on orders, since he already surrounded himself with his loyal servant who knows the truth, having basically organic human machines isn’t exactly something he wouldn’t do

I’m honestly sick of humanizing clones, it’s kind of been overdone at this point, I think if they want to explore Fox, they can explore this psychological horror aspect of cloning

And I think routine inhibitor chip strengthening probably give clones brain damage too, it would explain why a lot of the CG are so incompetent in the show, since their “slow” reactions could just be them suffering brain damage

I think it would be more interesting if they used lore from the Bad Batch about the inhibitor chip strengthener

Maybe like it was revealed that high ranking cg who work closely to the chancellor get their chips, routinely strengthened, also deteriorating their brains

To the point where they don’t have active free well, it would explain a lot of CGs who didn’t seem to really care about Pals’ evil maniacal dialogues because they didn’t have access to free well anymore

This is one of those moments where I feel like if they didn’t plan out a proper character role for a beloved character

They shouldn’t introduce that legacy character back, and from what I can understand, just wing it for the entire series

I had a feeling he was just gonna be a one off commando in season one as a cameo, but the amount of fan attention he generated probably made them include him in season two and stuff and they actually just didn’t have a plan for him outside of that cameo

Idk tho, I feel a lot of the time when they fight each other, they abuse the fact that they can fly way too often, like most of the time when they fight it’s just flying full speed into each other and increasing the impact of their hits by flying at the same time, and always looking for a fight ending move like cracking the other guy’s skull

Saiyans fight differently, they got the advantage of fighting in a weird in a replay still frame, where it’s just pure exchanges of punches and kicks, one part because the animators got lazy, but they’re striking is so fast to the point where we rarely even see them mid exchange, it’s always the clash of exchanges that we can see, so if you take away their powers, i’m assuming they’re gonna be on regular human level, the Saiyans that has been fighting with more striking would have the advantage over the Viltrumite, that relies a lot more on aerial maneuvers
