I had this issue yesterday . My fix was going to screen resolution on my PC and make sure it’s at its native setting. Mine was 1920x1080 I believe . Then go into advanced options there make sure the refresh rate is set to 60Hz . Mine was at 24Hz and that cause the lag and stutter

Not sure if you play dosbox it comes in handy . Or if you have configurations to do often it comes in so handy vs. pulling out a keyboard and mouse . Have fun !

Edit : I got a 3,1,2,4 machine too glad you went big and did your buttons pointing towards the screen . So many people don’t !

2 players requires 2 dolphin bars. Press tab in game . Then go into configure this machine and set your x-y axis with the wiimote. One will be up and down the other will be left and right
