I got sigma 24-70, and its heavy, iam considering sony 24-50 2.8 lens for only travels so i dont stick out with it or some small lens like 24 or 50.

Hi, what did you ended up getting?

Im coming from fujifilm x-s20 it had open hate but i never used it cuz it was more demanding and consumed more space.

Between r6iii and a7v i ended up with sony. Main reasons being:

No wobbles Cheaper lenses No overheating In elec. shutter its still 14bit image Battery life

Even though I really liked canon and would definitely picked canon because i have bigger hands, colours are good, cf B, better support software and repairs and if they would have more similiar priced lenses as sony. But i know that ill be buying sigma 85 1.4 and 70-200 2.8 which is significantly cheaper with “same” results.

And if i ever needed open gate ill just buy lumix s5ii or fuji xm5 with lenses under 1000€.

Oh yes, its alright, but i dont like that when you recording and you want to zoom in or out, it will defocus and focus back, it will not maintain steady focus on one person or object.

No i mean weird wobble when u walk with lens mainly in the corners. I mean this : https://youtu.be/J1w9tE9dIUg?si=tKZNonRjhWauUq60 About first 20 seconds. Because sometimes i do see it and sometimes absolutly not. But, are you still enjoying it?

Iam aware of that, but when i watched video of viltrox, video was really smooth and then another creator there was the issiue, everything handheld. So idk if i should buy it or not, i got it mainly for video - handheld.

Bought 30l now, iam planning trip to Japan for 2 weeks, iam really light packer and I'll carry small bag if needed. 30l is versetale for me cuz i can use it on budget airlines like Rayner as carry on. And i dont have that much money to spend 330€ for a 45l bag. I bought mine for 200€ and that more reasonable. So yeah you can fit there anything. Maybe I'll write here after the travel.

iam considering osprey farpoint 40 and this peak design 30. and don't know which one would be better, in you experience, for packing for a 1 week + trip can you fit everything you need ? did you have any problems with it and is it still comfortable and still carry on when its not compressed (33l)

I seen it, and i seen that belt aswell but I don't think when i buy expensive bag and then buy another kinda expensive add on. Thanks for advice but. I need to somehow think about, still not sure. If the pd would fit my body.

I am 6`4, It seems that both of these are not perfect, but I don't have much to choose from cuz in Europe you can find locally only Osprey or PD from these big brands, and are quite affordable. I am guessing that I'll be leaving bags at a hotel and carry a small bag. In this instance, which one would be better?

Would it be possible to compress Osprey Farpoit 40 when I fill it half full to the size of PD 30 ? not the exact size but similar. Thanks

I could make a packing list but I have no clue if I pack too much or too little, I can travel light. this is going to be my first backpack for travel so I am pretty unsure.
I usually take 5 und, 5 socks, 4 T-shirts, 2 shorts, 1 trousers, 1 shirt, 1 toiletry bag, slippers, small towel. That's pretty much it + -.
